Penchant for showers and roasting laser eyes leaving them quivering and wrecked. Hope he finds the keys soon 😅

on Udi Wertheimer · 1582· 1y ago20“Focused product”Blur is a highly focused product that serves its niche with remarkable efficiency. It was never designed to appeal to casual collectors or aesthetes. It was built for traders, and it excels on those terms. Fast, clean, and optimised for high-frequency activity, Blur is the closest thing we’ve had to a proper NFT trading terminal. There’s a tendency in this space to assign sentiment or intent to technology, but it’s worth remembering: technology is neutral. Tools don’t have morals... people do. If Blur has amplified certain behaviours, like flipping, bid farming, or liquidity extraction, it’s not because the platform is malicious. It’s because the broader market incentivised those behaviours long before Blur showed up. Yes, Blur may have accelerated some of the more extractive tendencies in the NFT ecosystem, but that likely says more about the space than it does about Blur as a company or a piece of technology. It held up a mirror. What we saw in that reflection (short-termism, zero-sum mentalities, de-prioritisation of creators) was already there.

Extremely professional approach, riveting interviews, sharp and thought provoking interviews and not shy to get interviewees on the ropes at times. Hope she continues to generate content related to web3 for years to come.

on Laura Shin · 1892· 1y ago25“Signal”I've followed ChartFu for a little while now. I take info shared by KOLs with a pinch of salt, but for the most part his takes are grounded and backed by some sort of thesis. Not always obvious what the thesis is, but as you get accustomed to the takes you start to understand where they're grounded. Look forward to more and pitting them against my own 👍🏾

Attending these events IRL is always such an eye opener as you get to see the impact being made in local communities that are otherwise relegated. TON has empowered so many. For that alone I have to champion them.

on TON 💎 · 1690· 1y ago19“One of the most compelling voices in crypto”Equal parts trader, provocateur and macro thinker. His writing was a key part of my own crypto education. Few people can weave together historical context, monetary theory, market structure and degenerate memes with the kind of flair he brings. He’s best known for founding BitMEX and helping usher in the era of perpetual swaps and high-leverage crypto trading. That alone would cement his place in the history books. But what keeps me reading him is the way he thinks. He doesn’t just react to markets, he dissects them, often months ahead of the curve.
