From 29 activities · Apr 2026Founder and CEO of Aave, one of DeFi's most resilient and battle-tested lending protocols with billions in TVL. Known for steady execution, long-term vision, and shipping products that actually last through multiple market cycles—from EthLend through Aave's dominance to experimental work with Lens Protocol. Respected as an OG builder who prioritizes infrastructure and open finance over hype, though recent governance tensions around Aave Labs and the DAO over revenue control and token purchases have drawn scrutiny.

The only problem I had with Stany was with the Lens platform. But otherwise, the huge influence of the Aave platform and Stany himself on crypto cannot be underestimated.

It’s the kind of feed you follow not just to keep up with crypto, but to understand where the next wave of innovation might come from. In a space full of noise, his profile offers a signal worth tuning into.

“aave faunder”yo so there was this sick dude at some conference right, he walks up all chill and confident, answered every damn question about aave like a boss. Then we bumped into each other in the bathroom lMao, turns out hes actually pretty cool. I was like yo we should hop on discord sometime and play some dota but this guy prefers cs2... like whatever man, to each their own i guess. I mean i dont just have different taste in games but food too ya know? anyway people just disagree on shit sometimes thats life
