From 44 activities · Apr 2026Starknet is a ZK-rollup with solid technology—STARK proofs, Cairo language, low fees, and account abstraction—but faces severe community backlash centered on its airdrop distribution. The snapshot criteria excluded active users who lacked ETH balance despite using the network, and dismissive team communication (notably calling community members "e-beggars") fractured trust. Post-TGE, the token price collapsed dramatically, user activity dried up, and the project is widely perceived as having prioritized insiders over genuine supporters, leaving it labeled a "ghost chain" despite its technical merit.

Crypto Junior · 1222· 1y ago1“$STRK haters, this one’s for you.
Don’t say I didn’t warn you 👀”Here’s a stronger closing that keeps the focus on long-term building: Starknet is one of the few projects that has continued to build and ship genuinely foundational technology that can benefit the crypto market over the long term. While the price has been falling for an extended period, Starknet has continued to announce and deliver meaningful developments. Meanwhile, many other projects simply went quiet. Maybe they were building behind the scenes, but if the market doesn’t see it, those efforts have little impact on sentiment, especially during a bear market. See the difference? 🤓 That kind of commitment and long-term strategy earns a lot of respect. Starknet has been building through the entire bear market and continues to gain momentum. Everything has its time. Keep building 👷♂️ Keep shipping 🚢 Keep watching 👀 The market may ignore fundamentals for a while, but it can’t ignore them forever 😉

Alistrago · 1265· 31d ago0“Starknet – Ethereum ZK Rollup”Starknet is a Layer 2 ZK rollup project on Ethereum with over 350 thousand followers on X. It promotes itself as a scalability solution using STARK proofs, Cairo language, and aims to expand into Bitcoin execution, while having its native STRK token. From an ethos perspective, Starknet represents another overhyped ZK project that has struggled with slow adoption, complex non-EVM environment, and persistent centralization concerns. Despite years of development and heavy marketing, it continues to lag behind competitors in user activity and ecosystem growth. High risk, low conviction, approach with extreme caution.

Ecrdx · 1259· 5mo ago · negative0“Market Psychology Around Starknet as an Entry Signal”Right now, the sentiment around Starknet is clearly negative. Declining trust, weak metrics, and overall disappointment in the community are reinforced by the drop in Ethos Score to low levels. But the key point here isn’t the numbers — it’s the behavior of people. When most market participants start to: - doubt the project - openly express negativity - exit their positions - ignore ongoing development this goes beyond a simple reaction — it becomes a phase of emotional pressure. And these phases often align with moments when the market gets “cleaned out.” Markets don’t move the most when everyone is confident. They move when most people have already given up. A low Ethos Score in this context reflects: - loss of confidence from the crowd - exit of weak hands - reduced interest from short-term players This creates an environment where a large part of the selling pressure may already be exhausted, and expectations are at their lowest. At the same time, Starknet continues building its technological foundation within the Ethereum ecosystem. This creates a clear gap: - negative perception on one side - ongoing development on the other That kind of mismatch is often what leads to future revaluation. The current market psychology around Starknet reflects not only low trust, but also the stage of the cycle the asset is in. When: - interest drops - discussions turn negative - trust metrics hit low levels it may indicate that a significant portion of the downside pressure has already played out. The decline in Ethos Score and the overall negative sentiment around Starknet reflect the current mood of the market. Periods like this are often viewed as potentially favorable for entry, since they are driven by fear rather than confidence. At the same time, there is an expectation within the community that $STRK could eventually return to the group of leading projects and reach the Top 20 in the crypto market.

Alistrago · 1265· 6mo ago0“Missed opportunity”Starknet started with so much hype as this super different ZK rollup using STARK proofs and the Cairo language. While most other L2s were just quick copy-paste EVM forks chasing fast liquidity, Starknet actually went the hard route, building something unique with native account abstraction for smooth UX, quantum-resistant tech, and real potential for complex apps and even Bitcoin scaling. It wasn't trying to be another Arbitrum clone, and that originality was refreshing at first. People were excited about the tech edge and the long-term vision. But the management choices really hurt them. The airdrop in early 2024 was a total disaster, from the weird eligibility rules, hating airdrop farmers out of nowhere, tons of active users getting left out, and then heavy unlocks for the team and investors that felt super unfair. On top of that, they had multiple network outages, slow adoption because Cairo is harder to learn than Solidity, and constant token unlocks creating sell pressure. Instead of rewarding the real community that stuck around early, the decisions pushed a lot of people away and killed the momentum. In the end, users just left for easier, more user-friendly L2s like Base or Arbitrum that actually grew liquidity and activity. Starknet's TVL and daily users dropped hard and even with solid BTCFi experiments and upgrades later, the vibe never fully recovered for many. It’s a classic case of killer tech getting held back by poor community handling, they had the chance to stand out but fumbled the basics, and the community paid the price with their time, gas, and trust. Still, I hope they can fix their problems moving forward.

wallcroft · 1235· 8mo ago · negative0“From To The Moon to 0,05”Да, многие ненавидят Старкнет, но причина не совсем в проекте, а в том что многие слепо поверили в ту зе мун и закупились монетой на исторических максимумах по 1–2 доллара.

marisriga · 1226· 8mo ago · neutral0“Let's not speak the language of holders.”..who would undoubtedly vent all their anger at a 95% drop in price. The very idea of building your chain on Ethereum and using a non-EVM-compatible wallet. Why? Is there even one pragmatic reason? On the contrary, this is an element that will repel potential users. As for the airdrop, they allocated quite a lot of money for it and even introduced adequate criteria, including a balance of >0.005 eth. But they forgot to take into account that it could be locked in protocols on their own network. Nonsense. They positioned themselves as an ultra-reliable chain, but in the end, we got a dead project that no one will even accidentally venture into because of the entry threshold and the lack of need. There is nothing to do there.
