Posts something like “hmm” and suddenly a dozen projects start questioning their life choices. No dream-selling. No token shilling. Just vibes, judgment, and the occasional dose of alpha wrapped in dread. When Cobie tweets, the timeline goes quiet. When scams surface, he’s usually already seen them coming and set the match. He’s not trying to be a guru or a brand. He’s funny, self-aware, and deliberately off center. Just posting, vibing, and casually dropping six figures to help someone with legal trouble or support a cause that matters. Honestly, he has better instincts than most VC, more integrity than half the industry, and influence on par with a media empire without ever selling out. 10/10 would let him vaporize my worldview again. The team clearly understands what made the original MapleStory special the charm, the grind, the nostalgia and managed to carry that exact spirit into a Web3 format without losing its soul. The project feels alive and well. The team stays active through collaborations and events, the mechanics are straightforward and easy to grasp, and the gameplay hits that satisfying, nostalgic sweet spot. It genuinely feels like reconnecting with an old friend familiar, fun, and still exciting. P.S. Ethos’ review ranking system somehow thinks this review is bad, but honestly? I don’t give a f*ck.

We first crossed paths back in 2023 during W3GS in the Philippines while she was with ZTX - all I remember was this ball of energy bouncing around the space. It wasn’t until more recently, during a long convo in Dubai, that we really dug into deeper topics - consumer adoption, the gaps in the space, and how things could improve. One of the challenges with working at a big ecosystem is that it’s easy to get disconnected from what’s actually happening on the ground.
