Co-founder of Bankless, known for explaining Ethereum and crypto through long-form podcasting, but widely criticized for undisclosed paid promotions, token dumps, extracting grants through multiple entities, rugging their own token, and posting divisive anti-Muslim and pro-war rhetoric that contradicts the platform's stated ethos of decentralization and community empowerment.

“I genuinely hate this plebs”They’ve fallen off tremendously since the launch of their coin and when they started charging for coming on the podcast plus all the insider allocations they got from eth projects to shill them lol, they are scammers https://x.com/evan_ss6/status/1691829414542049436?s=46 https://x.com/poppunkonchain/status/1878302662979907703?s=46 https://x.com/caneleo55/status/1801030363172532715?s=46 https://x.com/csbastiat/status/1728174201000120650?s=46

“Bankless.”I haven’t connected with David on a personal level, but his work with Bankless says enough. That alone earns my upvote.

“longstanding member of the crypto space and Bankless legend”

“the first alert I check every morning”stumbled onto his thread about EigenLayer restaking ±6 months back ended up bookmarking half the links and dodging a bad TVL trap thanks to his context. since then he’s become my shortcut to frontier-tech headlines: 1 post breaks down a fresh L2 security model, the next translates some messy regulatory draft into plain english. he keeps it light - calls himself an “optimistic storyteller,” throws a meme when the market melts, but the signal is always there.
