From 15 activities · Apr 2026Co-founder of Bankless, known for explaining Ethereum and crypto through long-form podcasting, but widely criticized for undisclosed paid promotions, token dumps, extracting grants through multiple entities, rugging their own token, and posting divisive anti-Muslim and pro-war rhetoric that contradicts the platform's stated ethos of decentralization and community empowerment.

Despite a lot of flak from other L1 maxis, David continues to put out informative content which feels fairly neutral (considering hes an ETH maxi, but nothing wrong with that!).

He’s sharp on Ethereum and governance, and I respect how consistently he pushes the conversation forward. At the same time, I don’t always agree with the ETH-maxi angle, but I do appreciate that he’s genuine and open to adjusting his stance when the space evolves.
