From 111 activities · Apr 2026USD.AI is a GPU-backed stablecoin protocol designed to finance AI infrastructure, offering real yield tied to GPU loans and treasury bills rather than circular crypto mechanics. The project has drawn backing from major investors like Dragonfly, Coinbase Ventures, and PayPal, with transparent reserves and integrations across DeFi platforms like Pendle and Morpho. Users consistently praise the novel approach of collateralizing a stablecoin with physical AI hardware, the solid 11–13% APY from sUSDai, and the seamless minting and staking experience, though some note occasional depegs during market volatility and concerns about the nascent nature of hardware-backed collateral models.

Received · 112Given · 0“new asset class”The idea seems fresh, logical, and could open up a new class of RWA + AI stablecoins, with the potential for higher returns than USDC/USDT and benefits for AI companies. - GPUs generate income (rendering, leasing, AI farms) - This is a rare and non-standard type of collateral - Opens up new access to liquidity for AI companies - Provides stability without relying solely on dollar reserves I like that the team is active, responds quickly, and is open to communication in every way. As a crypto enthusiast, I definitely want to support this project.

_Kopyright_ · 1283· 8mo ago9“AI with Capital and Infrastructure”USD.AI introduces a capital-efficient financial primitive designed specifically for AI compute and infrastructure financing. Rather than positioning as a generic stable asset, it directly targets GPU-backed origination, enabling on-chain dollars to be deployed into real, revenue-generating AI workloads. Built by @permianlabs and supported by institutional partners, the architecture emphasizes asset-backed issuance, structured risk, and scalable deployment across AI supply chains. The approved GPU financing facility demonstrates real-world integration and execution beyond theoretical design.

Cassanova · 1250· 10mo ago5“A Project That Actually Makes Sense: USD.AI”I’ve grown increasingly skeptical of the ICO landscape, largely because so many projects lose momentum or fail to deliver once the public sale is over. That’s why usd.ai stood out—it’s one of the rare cases that genuinely captured my attention for the right reasons. What differentiates usd.ai is its emphasis on tangible utility. The yield model is anchored in real-world lending to technology companies and DePIN infrastructure, rather than relying solely on circular crypto-to-crypto mechanics. This approach introduces a level of realism and sustainability that’s often missing in the space.

Degen Reborn · 1270· 9mo ago3“dollar that builds AI”Put a couple hundred USDC into USDai and just watching sUSDai drip a steady 11–13% APY. No gimmicky emissions, no hype noise. Backed by GPU loans and T-bills, withdrawals work fine (sometimes there’s a queue, but nothing crazy). The team is active, audits are in place — doesn’t feel like a fly-by-night setup. So far, one of the more sensible ways to get exposure to the AI narrative without taking on excessive risk. Just keep in mind the 30-day unstake during peak demand.

hitman42 · 1245· 10mo ago5“Interesting concept”A yield bearing stablecoin backed by GPU/compute resources, bridging AI infrastructure with DeFi lending. Solid backing too. Dragonfly, Coinbase Ventures, YZI Labs, names that dont typically attach to rugs. Active integrations with Pendle and Aerodrome suggest real development happening. The $CHIP CoinList ICO had some access complaints but nothing beyond the usual frustrated "scam" replies like your standard FUD with nothing substantive behind them. Still in its early days. Check audits, watch onchain activity, dont overexpose. But compared to most projects at this stage, its looking pretty clean.

kingtan · 1439· 7mo ago10“Stablecoin backed”After seeing countless ICOs struggle or collapse shortly after launch, it’s hard not to be skeptical of new public sales. That’s why usd.ai stood out to me. Instead of leaning on circular crypto narratives, the project is anchored in real-world value creation. Yield is generated through tangible channels like loans to established technology companies and DePIN-backed infrastructure, which gives the model a sense of durability and logic.

Alopez · 1239· 9mo ago2“Stablecoins with a Real-World Twist”I think USD.AI is an interesting project that bridges Web3 with the real world. It’s not just a stablecoin—it’s built on a credit system that finances physical infrastructure. Simply put, it’s a stablecoin that also works like an infrastructure bond. What stands out to me the most is that USD.AI channels capital directly into productive assets. USDai is fully T-Bill-backed, low-risk, and instantly redeemable. sUSDai, on the other hand, is a yield-bearing token backed by infrastructure credits like GPUs, telecom equipment, and AI hardware. During its beta on Arbitrum, USD.AI gathered around $50M in deposits, and it has now raised $13M in a Series A. Backers like Framework Ventures and Dragonfly signal strong confidence in the project. Technically, USD.AI integrates with the M^0 platform, providing T+0 liquidity and full collateral for USDai. Partnerships with MetaStreet also allow access to DePIN infrastructure credits. This strengthens both security and efficiency. Of course, there are risks. The long-term performance of infrastructure-backed credits is still untested. Maintaining liquidity after beta and potential regulatory changes are important considerations. Overall, USD.AI feels to me like a project that combines DeFi with real infrastructure, offering a model that is both secure and productive for users and investors. It’s still new, but the potential is clear.

sanXcryp · 984· 10mo ago8“Stablecoin Expansion Scrutiny”@USDai_Official touts USD.AI's rapid scaling, but glosses over risks in volatile AI markets. While praising on-chain vs. tradfi, it raises questions on sustainability amid hype-driven caps and incentives— a reminder DeFi's edge needs proven resilience.
