“Great Potential Perp DEX”Lighter has been one of the most interesting perp DEXs I’ve tried lately. The platform feels fast, stable, and genuinely active with real traders behind every move. Liquidity is impressive, and execution is clean — it’s easy to tell the growth here is coming from real usage, not hype or artificial volume. It gives the sense of a team that’s actually focused on building a product traders can rely on. That said, the liquidation policy still feels harsh. Losing 1% of the position size to fees during liquidation can wipe out a big chunk of margin, even on pairs as stable as BTC or ETH. I had a trade that would’ve survived elsewhere but got liquidated early here because of that fee. If the team can adjust this part of the model, Lighter could easily stand shoulder to shoulder with Hyperliquid as one of the best perp DEXs in the space.
