“uni been cooking since day one”Uniswap’s like that old friend you complain about but never drop. Gas is high, fees sting, but at the end of the day — we all end up back on Uni. It’s simple, reliable, and still the first stop when you’re about to ape into some random token at 3am. OG status is real. They basically wrote the playbook for onchain swaps, and every other DEX is still playing catch-up. From the UNI airdrop to V3 concentrated liquidity, even now with V4 hooks — they keep pushing DeFi forward. Yeah, aggregators might save you a few bucks sometimes, but nothing beats the trust + liquidity Uni brings. Call it the backbone of DeFi, call it the OG — either way, without it half the degen plays wouldn’t even exist.

As one of the earliest platforms to gain real traction, it continues to set the standard for liquidity and smooth execution. Swapping large sizes with minimal slippage is rarely an issue here. With the recent news of the SEC dropping its investigation, the platform seems to be entering a new chapter — and the long-awaited fee switch could make things even more interesting for UNI holders.

“Defi leader”Uniswap really helped change the world of defi and trading. It brought liquidity, and yield for that liquidity. They also had a great airdrop, that was out of the blue.

“Still the gold standard for swapping.”Uniswap just works. Fast, reliable, and I never worry about sketchy contracts or hidden fees. It's been years and I still default to it, if a token’s not on Uniswap, I start asking questions.

“uniswap keeps things straight forward easy swaps, smooth ui, and enough liquidity”i remember using uniswap early on and it just clicked for me. the swaps were fast, no weird issues, and liquidity was always there. a lot of new dexes popped up since then but uni still feels like the most reliable one. kind of crazy that after all this time it’s still the go-to.
