From 119 activities · Apr 2026Uniswap is the foundational DEX that pioneered decentralized trading since 2018, introducing the AMM model that reshaped DeFi and inspired countless forks. Users consistently praise its intuitive interface, deep liquidity across multiple chains, fast execution, and zero security exploits over eight years—making it the gold standard and default choice for token swaps. The platform continues to innovate through V3 concentrated liquidity, V4 hooks, and Unichain expansion, though one critic argues the UNI token receives extractive treatment with zero accrual value despite the protocol's technical leadership.

“Number 1 DEX”Most trusted EVM DEX — I use it daily. V2 made token-to-token swaps easy, V3 added concentrated liquidity, and V4 brings hooks + a single contract for cheaper, customizable pools. Big, but still shipping.

biricoinmidedi · 1181· 1y ago10“Swapping made easy. lets goo”Uniswap Labs is the team behind Uniswap, one of the most influential decentralized exchanges (DEXs) in the crypto space. Since its launch, it has revolutionized the way users trade tokens on Ethereum and other blockchains by eliminating traditional order books and replacing them with an automated market maker (AMM) model.

osamafaheemm🤝 · 1441· 1y ago23“Uniswap: OG DEX”I use Uniswap a lot, and the experience has been consistently great. When I need to swap or quickly enter/exit a position, I open Uniswap first - simple flow, smooth execution, no extra noise. I also appreciate that it’s one of the OG DEXs in crypto, routing billions in volume over time. It’s been around, it delivers, and I’m glad to see it still evolving. I’m excited for V4 and the full feature set they’ve planned. Uniswap stays on my active‑use list because of the liquidity and the ability to trade memes - early liquidity often shows up here first, which makes it an easy choice.

“The Default DEX”For me, Uniswap is still the default reference point for DeFi. It’s the app people open without hesitation, choose a token, swap, move on. No friction, no second thoughts. The interface stays clean, it routes smoothly across chains, and underneath it all is a proven AMM engine—v2, v3, and now v4 hooks—quietly handling billions in volume every month. That’s why everything else gets compared to it. If a DEX falls short on UX, liquidity, or reliability compared to Uniswap, it immediately feels lacking. It’s hard to imagine on-chain markets without it, Uniswap isn’t just another DEX, it’s part of the infrastructure.

Dom (❖,❖) · 1228· 10mo ago9“The OG Swapping App”I cant deny the fact that UNI became one of the backbones of where I am now in web3 because UNI is my go to app when I was starting in web3 to swap coins. Lots of improvements were made. The speed of swapping, the UI and the chains onboarded in their app. Kudos.
