ikyy · 1215· 11mo ago7“Weird-Smart”I don’t even know how to describe Vitalik sometimes. He’s not your usual “founder” type — not flashy, not aggressive, not trying to play the Elon card. He just exists in this space between math, memes, and metaphysics, and somehow that’s exactly what Ethereum needed. What I love about watching Vitalik over the years is how unapologetically odd he is. Like, one day he’s writing a 20-page post on quadratic voting, the next he’s posting a cursed anime meme with layered takes on governance models. And both times? He’s 100% serious. There’s no act. That’s just how his brain works — pure, unfiltered signal, weird formatting and all. He’s not perfect. He’s made calls that aged badly. But he owns them. And he evolves. You can literally trace his thinking in public — blog after blog, speech after speech — like watching a protocol upgrade happen in human form. Also, let’s be real — a lot of what people are doing in crypto right now? Vitalik hinted at it years ago. Restaking? DA layers? Social recovery wallets? He didn’t just mention these things — he mapped them out in eerie detail before the infra even existed. I don’t agree with everything he says. Sometimes I read his stuff and I’m like “bro what??” — but that’s the thing. He’s not trying to win you over. He’s trying to explore ideas in public. That’s rare. That’s real. If you're not reading him, you're just playing catch-up.

AIVAR · 1298· 1y ago7““Vitalik’s Vision Still Feels Ahead of Its Time””Every time I read Vitalik’s writings or hear him speak, I get the feeling that he’s thinking ten years ahead of everyone else. Ethereum is proof of that. He imagined a system where people could build things freely without asking for permission, and now the whole crypto space is shaped around that idea. What I find most impressive is that he never chases hype. He always stays grounded, focused on making Ethereum stronger and more useful for real people. Watching Ethereum grow into the second biggest ecosystem in the world is inspiring, but even more inspiring is knowing that its founder is still pushing it forward with the same curiosity and determination that he had in the very beginning.

Whether he’s championing privacy as the real “alpha,” pushing for neutrality in online discourse, or critiquing profit-driven hype, his feed makes you pause and think. It's not about fame it’s about shaping Ethereum’s future with purpose.

Fikachu · 1266· 1y ago3““An Architect of a New Digital Age””After Satoshi Nakamoto, few names carry as much weight in the crypto world as Vitalik Buterin. He didn’t merely launch Ethereum he reimagined what a blockchain could be. By introducing smart contracts, he unlocked an entire universe of innovation, from DeFi and NFTs to thousands of decentralized applications shaping the Web3 landscape. Beyond technology, Vitalik continues to influence the space through research, forward-thinking ideas, and a deep commitment to open, permissionless systems. His legacy is not just significant it’s still unfolding.

Pelin Ay · 1253· 12mo ago · negative3“Architect of the decentralized future”Vitalik is not just a founder, he’s a force of nature in the Web3 world. While others ride market waves, he operates on a completely different layer: constantly proposing ideas that stretch the boundaries of what’s technically and socially possible. From pioneering rollups and data availability sampling to exploring the philosophical implications of digital identity, his influence is everywhere. He doesn’t chase attention, he earns it, through essays that become north stars for developers, through proposals that quietly reshape Ethereum’s core, and through an unwavering commitment to decentralization, even when it's the harder path. Vitalik represents a rare kind of leadership in crypto: one rooted in thoughtfulness, technical depth, and long-term vision. Ethereum would not be what it is, or where it's going, without his presence. A true original in a space full of noise.

NotSybil ✝️ · 1293· 1y ago4“The Mind Behind Ethereum”In my opinion Vitalik isn’t “great” just because he built a technology; he’s great because he changed the way a generation thinks. many people could have built a faster blockchain or a pricier token, but very few have redefined concepts like power, ownership and trust the way he did. what I really respect is that, despite all his influence, he doesn’t chase control. He doesn’t see himself as a supreme leader or want to be a hype hero. He constantly critiques himself, leaves his ideas open to discussion, and is willing to show his mistakes publicly. In a world full of ego and hype, that’s rare. to me Vitalik is a symbol that true power in Web3 comes from humility, not noise. he may not be perfect and some of his decisions spark debate, but his impact is deep and lasting. without him the history of crypto and Web3 would feel incomplete.
