ZKasino is a $33M cryptocurrency scam that exploited ZK hype to raise funds through multiple presale rounds and VC investments, then disappeared with user ETH deposits. The project promised a decentralized gambling protocol with fair on-chain gaming and token airdrops, but instead locked funds, converted them to worthless ZKAS tokens on a 15-month vest, and staked the ETH via Lido without user consent. Founders were arrested in the Netherlands; the team abandoned the project before launch, created fake refund websites, and left thousands of investors with total losses.

“A Scam This Was”Seeing the name ZKcasino brought a whole lot of memories back. I lost a lot of money to their site caused I was just hyped about them building on Zksync at the time. People or Web3 users should be away and stay away from this project. They failed and never refunded users money.

“ZKasino Is Not a Casino, It’s a Trap”I honestly feel scammed. They promised we could bridge ETH and get it back in 30 days, plus some tokens. Sounded like a solid deal—until they completely changed the terms after taking the money. Instead of returning my ETH, they locked it and gave me some worthless $ZKAS tokens, claiming I’d get my funds back over 15 months. Then they moved the ETH into Lido to earn yield for themselves. No warning, no opt-out, no respect. Just silence and shady moves. People kept asking for clarity, and the only answers were vague tweets or deleted posts.
