I also hold significant reservations about the effort by the founder of Telegram to use TON as the blockchain to create a Network State. We should support decentralized Network States, but centralized ones should be resisted. Fackbook narrowly failed to make one with Libra back in the day. Telegram is hoping to create one with TON.

The challenge he faces is on the extreme end of difficult so I actually give the project a very low chance of success for a few reasons: 1. Hand scanning will make it a no go for many crypto natives 2. VC backing make it difficult to get widespread adoption when it comes to this sort of invasive tech. In the same way it's been a big turn off for WorldCoin. People just don't trust it. 3. The farming nature of the launch feels like they are just looking to boost their numbers for another VC raise 4. This is the big one - identity and personal data stored on blockchains is an extremely difficult problem to solve. It's been discussed and various solutions put out for at least the last decade. So I appreciate the effort but the likelihood of success is low imo I could be wrong here and hence the neutral rather than negative review. But this is my current impression.

This includes cards and doing pack breaks and live videos and stuff all the time. I give Gary a ton of credit for sticking with it and really trying to build a brand in web3 and VeeFriends is one of the few examples you can point to that's actually survived.

Huge IPO that sets them up to be one of the big players in the stablecoin market going forward. Gotta give it to the team for sticking it out and doing it the right way when there was certainly some uncertainties whether their business would be legal in the US.

He's continued that character arch through till today and has done it with class and very high ethics. Few of us could walk that same path with such style. Though I disagree with his often left leaning views, I really appreciate that he's always a clear thinker and principled. And other than Satoshi himself, Vitalik is the greatest crypto founder of all time.

But they were able to keep builders building and they were able to find traction again with Polymarket this cycle. So I give the team a lot of credit for figuring shit out in the hyper-competitive L2 space.

Obviously, the person has no idea what Agent Hustle is (a DeFAI agent). His post makes it seem like Hustle is a KOL and need to be 'followed'. Totally fake. https://app.ethos.network/activity/review/69448/game-changer-for-solopreneurs-and-hustlers-alike

Now how much of that was due to Toly is debatable but he certainly has helped to keep the chain alive and the winner of this cycle. I take his post with a huge grain of salt as he's clearly favoring his bags. But generally I think his takes are pretty fair.
