“Thoughts After Checking Out ApeCoin”I’ve been looking into ApeCoin (APE) recently, and honestly, my feelings are mixed. On the one hand, I like that it gives holders a say in the DAO and actual utility inside the BAYC / Yuga Labs ecosystem — access to events, games, perks, etc. Plus, the branding behind BAYC is still one of the strongest in Web3, which definitely adds weight. That said, APE is super tied to the NFT hype, and if interest in BAYC slows down, the token could lose a lot of its appeal. There are also still big token unlocks coming, which makes me cautious. Overall, I see ApeCoin less as a “serious payment token” and more as a community + culture play. If you’re into BAYC and want to be part of that world, it makes sense. As an investment though, I’d treat it carefully — high upside, but also pretty high risk
