“The mistake of dYdX was switching to the Cosmos ecosystem”To be honest, dYdX sounds all fancy with its "pro" decentralized exchange (DEX) label, but when you dig into it, it’s not all that impressive compared to the hyped-up promises. First off, the switch from Ethereum to Cosmos SDK sounds cool—supposedly for lower fees and faster transactions. But in reality? Sure, gas fees on Cosmos are cheaper, but the trading process gets so complicated that newbies are left sweating bullets. It’s nowhere near as straightforward as centralized exchanges. And then there’s the whole “decentralized” claim—sounds free and open, right? But how’s it decentralized when it’s still banned in the US, Canada, and a few other places? What kind of freedom is that? As for the DYDX token, they say it’s for governance and staking, but let’s be real: most of the benefits go to big-shot validators or hardcore traders, while small-time players are left with measly rewards. Plus, connecting with MetaMask or Keplr is such a hassle—one wrong move and you’re kissing your seed phrase goodbye. All in all, dYdX talks a big game, but it’s still a clunky mess that’s not exactly user-friendly for the average Joe. If you’re thinking of jumping in, better think twice, or you might end up screwed!
