“Art onchain”OG. One of the most prolific onchain art platforms, Art Blocks is renowned for curating some of the 'best' art. Famous collections include Chromie Squiggles by Snowfro, Archetypes by Kjetil Golid, and Subscapes by Matt DesLauriers. While there has been some questions around governance and decisions made, overall they deserve props for what they have achieved.

“Gen Art Platform OG.”Artblocks ruled the day at the peak of NFT Season. It was hard to find another platform that was so innovative with the best generative artists and art. With such an amazing founder in Snowfro, I just hope it finds its way and infinitely lives on.

“The good and the bad”The good: Art blocks has had a huge impact on the digital art market during the epic NFT bull cycle. It has helped a lot of artists get known and pushed the space forward with their contracts and drops. And while now they have scalled back since than they still do regular updates to their engine and interesting drops with realistic supplies. The bad: it is probably one of the main reasons why gen art is in the shiter now. Regular drops during the past bull with huge supplies that flooded the market regularly extracting as much as possible through a DA system. Promoting artists that had no reason to be called such that ended up having sales in the millions of $ (and that now have completely vanished) because of a curation board that had their main focus on their bags more than on future collectors.

“So cool eth platform”is a cool Ethereum platform for generative NFT art. Artists code algorithms to create unique digital pieces, collectors mint them. “Journey in Generative Art”As one of the pioneers in generative art, Art Blocks has always been a unique experience. The platform was full of creativity and interaction between artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts. Their smart move of acquiring sansa and improving the user interface made everything more accessible and engaging. However, when they switched to the Dutch Auction model, it felt like the balance shifted, and collectors didn’t benefit as much as before. Still, over five years, they’ve launched many collections, and their collaboration with OpenSea shows they remain innovative and influential in the space.
