What people say
Received · 338Given · 72“Ethos CEO: setting a new standard for crypto projects.”What he’s building shifts how we evaluate projects: simple criteria and transparent reasoning. From what I've seen, Ethos points make people stop and think about whether it's worth continuing to invest their time and money in this project, which saves them from making costly mistakes.

Nodrogelo · 1575· 1y ago41“The CTO of Ethos”CTO is foundational member of any project. And the way Ethos is being built its truly remarkable. A long way to go. Just one small suggestion, instead of placing all the Eth in a single contract, why not convert the eth to WETH and lock in user smart contract. This way one can about the honey pot scenario.

Graptor · 1461· 1y ago33“Staked my points on Ben's validator”I was undecided between staking on validators or picking the Nft. I chose staking purely out of speculation and without a doubt chose Ben. He doesn't create much noise on X, lets his tech expertise do the talking.

Ronald.hl · 1406· 9mo ago40“The Builder Behind the Curtain”I’ve been watching Ben in the Ethos ecosystem for a while, and he’s one of those builders who doesn’t need the spotlight to make real impact. Sharp, hands-on, and consistently improving the product, he brings a balance of technical skill, quick support, and a down-to-earth sense of humor. Whether shipping updates or helping users solve issues, he shows up with intent.

Dman Lex · 1392· 11mo ago46“Goated Dev”He is the co-founder of Ethos, alongside Trevor Thompson (Ben is the CTO, Trevor is the CEO). Ben's deep knowledge and his ability to problem-solve aer unmatched. I’m constantly impressed by how quickly he adapts and how fast he addresses feedback, all while cracking jokes. Yep, on top of his smarts, Ben also has a great sense of humor. His enthusiasm, passion, and drive are infectious, and I’m grateful for it. He’s clearly an awesome builder, and it’s evident that he and Trevor are fully committed to maximizing Ethos' impact in the Web3 space. I’ll be here for all of it.

nobita · 1278· 1y ago27“Ethos CTO”I don’t know Ben personally but giving him a follow cause I love this product. Ethos is still one of my favorite projects to come out the last couple years and I use it on a daily basis. Followed you Ben keep building baby!

alex.hl · 1320· 9mo ago26“The most dedicated and meticulous CTO”He's very detail-oriented and always double-checks his work. Ben gives off a completely different impression—he genuinely cares about unresolved issues. Instead of simply posting a group announcement for everyone to check on their own, he also followed up with me in a private message to make sure I didn’t miss it. Considering there are over a hundred people in the group, and I can only imagine how many messages he handles, it’s clear that he’s a truly detail-oriented and thoughtful person. 👍

大鬧 Danao · 1389· 1y ago26“Practical Ethos Signals for Builders”I appreciate how you ship and explain. Your March 2025 release of API docs for Ethos Network and Ethos Markets gave a clear integration path for devs, which made it easier for me to scope features without guesswork. Then your July 2025 EIP-5 discussion laid out why to blend social clout with on-chain merit and how it could curb Sybil issues while rewarding real skin-in-the-game useful framing that cut through noise. Together, those posts sharpened my roadmap: integrate against public APIs first and then iterate as the credibility model matures. Thanks for keeping updates concrete with timelines, definitions, and what builders should test next no fluff, just signal I can act on.

Kykyna · 1402· 1y ago25“wow”“No direct interaction but Gud Dev” I only knew Ben was CTO of Ethos once upon a time where I was reviewing a profile & then the pop up was that I reviewed another profile - which turned out to be a small bug. It was odd at first to see this stick mfer reply giving me an overview of the situation & how he's looking into it & just clicked later on that he's the CTO. It's not often you'll find someone looking for bugs etc on X From a user experience, the platform works smoothly in most instances & the approach Ethos takes in building in public is an attestation to how fast Ben can iterate & ship.

nobita · 1278· 1y ago24“about ben walther”Honestly, Ben Walther is the real deal. He's the guy who keeps everything at Ethos super secure. As their CTO, he's basically the brains behind all the security, and you can tell he's passionate about it. It's reassuring to know that you're looking for someone so dedicated to the network. He's not just a security expert, he's someone who genuinely cares about making things safe and reliable.
