BigCoin is a gamified mining project on Abstract Chain with Bitcoin-like tokenomics and a fixed 21M supply, built around virtual miners and merge mining mechanics designed to enable fairer token launches. The project has polarized the community—supporters praise its creative mining meta, strong community engagement, transparent team leadership under CTO BoredElonMusk, and innovative approach to token distribution, while skeptics view it as a Ponzi scheme with reward dilution and dependence on new user inflows. Early adopters reported significant returns, though the token experienced sharp volatility and a major price correction; the team has since delivered consistent updates, NFT integration, cosmetics, and a reworked economy to sustain engagement.

“I lost my money”One day, while using and exploring the Abstract ecosystem, I stumbled upon a project called Bigcoin. It was a typical Ponzi scheme offering to buy a mining rig to earn Bigcoin. I bought the rig and spent about $100 in total. According to my calculations, I should have been earning a decent amount daily. And in about two weeks, I should have been profitable. However, imagine my surprise when I realized that the amount of Bigcoin awarded for mining was falling. And everything depended on the number of people who contributed to this pyramid scheme. This is the first time I've encountered this type of interaction system in a dAPP, and I'm wondering why there was no warning anywhere about how the more people who joined the protocol, bought mining rigs, and started farming, the smaller the reward for each user would be. IT WAS NOT WRITTEN ABOUT THIS ANYWHERE. IT'S JUST HORRIBLE. THIS IS AN OPEN TRAFFIC PLAYER, SCAMMED FOR MONEY. But that's not all. One day, my reward was so small that I realized I wouldn't be able to recoup the cost of the installation even in a year of operation. I freaked out and decided to tear everything down. And how surprised I was when I realized these machines couldn't even be sold, only destroyed! And the destruction process is done with just one click. And again, there are no warnings for inexperienced users! Platforms like Bigcoin and their team are greedy, money-hungry people willing to deceive newcomers who want to try something new, without explaining the full terms and conditions or how the system works.Даниил Ануфриев | Путь Мультипотенциала · 1236· 1y ago · negative9
“Bigcoin: A Textbook Crypto Scam in Plain Sight.”I've spent the last few hours crawling through their website, their sparse documentation, and that... frankly bizarre Pandora.fun link, and I have to be brutally honest—my initial reaction is a massive, visceral sense of alarm. This isn't just another crypto project; it feels like a textbook example of everything that gives this industry a bad name. As someone who's analyzed hundreds of protocols and seen every scam in the book, this sets off more red flags than a military parade. Let's dismantle this thing systematically. **The Core Premise: The "Cloud Mining" Anachronism** Bigcoin's entire business model appears to be cloud mining—selling hashpower to users so they can "mine" BTC without owning hardware. This model was largely made obsolete years ago due to centralization and rampant fraud. The fact that they're pushing this in 2024 is immediately suspicious. Their documentation provides zero technical details about: - Mining pool operations - Hashrate verification - Hardware specifications - Location of mining facilities - Pool distribution strategies This isn't a technical oversight—it's a deliberate omission. Without these fundamentals, there's no way to verify if they actually operate any mining infrastructure at all. **The Tokenomics: A Classic Ponzi Structure** The $BIG token appears to be the centerpiece of their ecosystem. The economics follow a familiar predatory pattern: 1. **Artificial Scarcity:** Claims of limited supply while controlling majority of tokens 2. **Staking Rewards:** Promises of high APY through "mining rewards" 3. **Referral Bonuses:** Heavy emphasis on multi-level marketing The token contract address (0x753222713294f3d92ce982a826bfdf151d492fc7) shows concerning patterns: - High concentration of tokens in few wallets - Suspicious transaction patterns typical of wash trading - No verified source code available **The Pandora.fun Connection: The Smoking Gun** The provided Pandora.fun link is particularly alarming. This appears to be a questionable DEX aggregator with: - No KYC/AML compliance - Poor liquidity across most pairs - History of listing scam tokens - Anonymous team operation The fact that Bigcoin directs users through this platform rather than established DEXs suggests they're avoiding scrutiny. **Technical Implementation: Nonexistent** The GitHub repository is essentially empty. No: - Smart contract verification - Mining pool software - Node client implementation - API documentation - Security audit reports This isn't a technical project—it's a marketing website with a token attached. **The Verdict:** Bigcoin exhibits every characteristic of a well-organized crypto scam: - Vague technical claims with no substantiation - Opaque tokenomics designed for extraction - Association with questionable platforms - Complete lack of technical implementation - Heavy focus on referral marketing The cloud mining narrative is simply a vehicle for selling worthless tokens to unsuspecting investors. There's no evidence of actual mining operations, no technical innovation, and no legitimate business model. I wouldn't touch this with a ten-foot pole. This isn't just a bad investment—it's likely an outright fraud. The technical analysis reveals nothing because there's no technology to analyze. Save your money and report the platform to relevant authorities. This is exactly the kind of operation that regulatory bodies are cracking down on worldwide.amircrypto82 · 1331· 1y ago · negative4
