“The Nokia of Crypto Wallets”MetaMask was the wallet that got most of us through the door back in 2016, and it deserves credit for making Ethereum accessible when everything was new. But let's be honest - it's showing its age badly. The swap fees are straight up robbery. For an OG wallet that's been around almost a decade, there's nothing modern here - no native Bitcoin support, clunky UI, and zero innovation compared to what competitors are doing. And the real dealbreaker is performance. If you're running 100+ active wallets or trading frequently, this thing becomes UNUSABLE. Constant lagging, crashes mid-transaction, crashes when you're trying to open it, freezes all the time; all freezes that make you genuinely worried about losing funds. Meanwhile, OTHER wallets like some with long ears are showing transaction simulations, auto-switching networks, and actually innovating instead of coasting on being the default option everyone installed years ago (!!!). MetaMask feels like using a Nokia flip phone in the smartphone era. It works for basic stuff if you're already locked into the ecosystem, but there are way better options now. The high fees, terrible performance with multiple wallets, and lack of modern features make it hard to recommend in 2025. It was good once, but that time has passed.

“Active Crypto Voice in Lighter Community”I've seen matt pop up in my timeline for a while now and the account seems pretty active in the crypto/DeFi space. Don't know too much about the background or specific projects they're involved with apart of Lighter, but the takes seem reasonable and the engagement with the community feels genuine rather than just promotional noise. Worth a follow if you're looking for more voices in the space. The content mix looks solid from what I've seen - combination of market commentary and project insights. Good to diversify who you're following on crypto Twitter to get different perspectives, especially when the acc isn't spammy.

“extractor, scammer, false info spreader”This dude's basically known for ripping off his followers and dumping on them constantly. He's always hyping up garbage projects and conveniently gets 'hacked' whenever he needs an excuse. Most people in the crypto space think he's sketchy AF, so his whole neutral act is pretty laughable. And just yesterday he allegedly rugged his own followers, posting a CA on his X account only to send the chart to zero minutes later. “Promising DEX by Binance team”Supported by CZ, Aster DEX galvanized the perp DEX field, launching a mania and luring users with a more than generous airdrop campaign. We'll see how long this hype lasts. As for the tech side, they call it a DEX, but it hardly is one right now because the crucial parts that make a DEX a DEX are still in development. However, it has its own chain (already in private testing), its own yield-bearing stablecoin (already working), earnings markets, and so-called "dark pools" that I think are still in development too. Considering all this, I'm kinda bullish on it. They're building not just a DEX, but a whole ecosystem, and with huge support from Binance and CZ in general, it's hard to fade it.
