But now, with BONKFun, it’s completely flipped the script on Solana’s memecoin scene. BONKFun, backed by the BONK community and plugged into Raydium, has blown past Pump.fun as the go to platform for launching meme tokens. It’s pulling in $120M to $180M in daily trading volume, while Pump.fun struggles to hit even $18M. It’s also cranking out over 20,000 new token launches a day, more than double what Pump.fun is doing. What’s making the biggest difference is real tokenomics. BONKFun uses a chunk of its launch fees to buy back and burn BONK, giving actual value and deflation to the token. Pump.fun never really did that at least not until it launched its own token, $PUMP, which has been met with mixed reactions.
