He used to be smart, used to be awesome but now he seems like the dude who got his money and go into much more in a relaxed mode. I feel he is still the same smart visionary as he was but just without hunger. Respect for the past but for the present not so sure.

Crypto obviously requires some kind of social graph or alternative solution in order to differentiate real users from bots or farmers. I am inspired by the Ethos vision solving that problem. Whether they succeed or not remain to be seen.

Today I don't have a clear vision why we should use Polygon and not Base, Optimism, Solana or potentially Monad.

The reality on Farcaster today is 10% cool crypto content, 40% twitter copy pasta, 50% food pictures. Does not seem like a twitter killer. Still better by a country mile than all other SocialFi twitter killers.

I honestly don't see how those companies will survive the intensifying competition, even though I can't say anything bad about it.

Look at them now. Optimism, Arbitrum and Base, all optimistic, make ZK solutions eat dust. Also Optimism has the best dev toolkit is space, my respect Optimism brothers!
