One of the best parts for me has been discovering @playgigaverse through the ecosystem. It has become one of my favorite crypto apps, and I play it daily. I also have around $4k locked in liquidity and I am farming the XP, so I am clearly not just watching from the sidelines. That said, the way the ABS TGE keeps getting dragged out is a serious red flag. It creates uncertainty for users who are already committing capital and time. I also expected more visible involvement from Luka Netz. Given his role behind Pudgy Penguins and the fact that this is his own chain, I think he should be more present when there are ongoing issues. There are still a lot of them. Neutral for now. The upside is there, but execution and communication need to improve.

He was found on a KOL price sheet and there are reviews saying he did not disclose endorsements properly. On top of that, multiple promoted projects tied to him ended badly, including Aquabot and $HOTEL. If you are taking money to push coins and not being upfront about it, you are not helping your followers, you are using them as exit liquidity.

We’ve got a lot in common: both into fantasy football and big fans of the Premier League. I’m a Gooner, he’s a Magpie, but we get along just fine (most of the time). What I really respect about him is he’s not afraid to speak up when something’s wrong. Whether it’s in crypto or elsewhere, if he thinks something isn’t fair or isn’t being done properly, he’ll say it. Even if it means questioning things that might not benefit him directly. He’s got strong principles and sticks to them.

He dgaf but also has solid points and reasoning. More recently, I've enjoyed watching him build products that are useful to the wider crypto industry. The wallet tracker he's been vibecoding looks especially handy, and I'm curious to see where he takes it.

The interface is minimal in a good way, you're not fighting through menus to do a basic swap. Cross-chain works without drama. The points system gives you a reason to stay active beyond just trading, and the LP pools have been consistently returning decent APR. Not flashy, just functional. That's what I want from a DEX.

The network is cheap, familiar, and active enough that parking capital there does not feel speculative for its own sake. My hesitation is the product direction around the Base app and the broader push to tokenize everything, especially with Zora in the mix. I still think Base is one of the better L2 ecosystems to use today, but I would rate it neutral because the execution is strong while the cultural direction feels uneven.
