Uwucrew was a community launched project that rose from the ashes of Waifusion, which was basically a rug. Cobie was very involved in the Waifusion project as a vocal community member (he wasn't on the team he wasn't the rugger lol) and he had a lot of thoughts about what should happen to save the project. The lore (medium article) was not very kind to him however, and that was my first introduction to Cobie. So me not knowing any better thought he was a bad guy for quite some time. Over the years I have come to realize that Cobie is a net positive for the space. He has done a lot for crypto and NFTs and seems to have good values. From his podcast to Echo he is a true builder. He's also a pretty funny guy, which is always a bonus. Follow his X account if you can. Thanks for keeping it real Cobie.
