It’s a legacy project, one of the earliest “Bitcoin 2.0” platforms, and that history gives it credibility. On the flip side, although it has strong fundamentals, I do sometimes feel it’s underappreciated or overshadowed by newer, flashier projects. Its UX and tooling aren’t always the smoothest, and adoption hasn’t scaled as fast as some would hope. Still, Counterparty’s role feels essential—like a tech pioneer that laid bricks we built upon.
