David Phelps is a Web3 builder and co-founder of Jokerace who combines sharp analysis of tokenomics, governance, and crypto culture with accessible, witty writing that cuts through hype. Known for thoughtful threads on blockchain, DAOs, and the attention economy, he pairs operator energy with philosophical depth—connecting technology, markets, and ethics without flashy headlines. His consistent, founder-led approach to community engagement and his willingness to call out industry absurdities earn him recognition as a credible, authentic voice that educates as much as it builds.

“Web3 thinker and cultural visionary”David is one of the most prominent voices in Web3 that I know. His texts and reflections always go deeper than just a superficial view of the market: he knows how to connect culture, economics, and technology into a single picture. Reading his thoughts, you begin to look at the industry more broadly and find new perspectives. He also remains open and honest in communication, which makes interacting with him especially valuable.

“Thought-Provoking but Sometimes Polarizing”From my point of view, David Phelps brings a unique voice into discussions, often sharing perspectives that make people stop and think. He has a strong ability to challenge conventional assumptions and introduce new ways of looking at Web3, culture, and community. I can appreciate the depth of thought and the originality behind many of his takes.

“The Person Who Always Appears in Between Web3 Conversations”David Phelps is a name that often slips into many Web3 conversations. Whether we're discussing projects, builder philosophies, or just joking around on the timeline, someone is bound to mention or quote him. His communication style is straightforward but still colorful. Sometimes he's serious about the ecosystem, sometimes he's funny with a touch of humor. Many people feel that his point of view always makes them think again, without feeling patronizing.
