The original memecoin that started as a 2013 joke but evolved into a cultural phenomenon and top-10 cryptocurrency by market cap. Known for fast, cheap transactions, a fiercely loyal community, and staying power through multiple market cycles—powered by internet culture, grassroots support, and Elon Musk's endorsements. While critics point to its unlimited supply, hype-driven volatility, and lack of serious technical roadmap, supporters credit it with creating the entire memecoin sector and proving that community energy and humor can sustain real value in crypto.

“Gerçek Memecoin”İlk çıktığı zamanlarda çok güven vermemişti meme coin olduğu için fakat öyle bir büyüdü öyle bir yürüdü gitti ki arkasından bakıp kaldım resmen. Keşke korkmadan az da olsa alsaymışım zamanında ama nereden bilebilirdik ki..

“OG memecoin”Dogecoin started as a meme, but it quickly grew into a vibrant and active crypto community. With its lighthearted Shiba Inu branding and fast, low-fee transactions, it's popular for tipping, micro-payments, and internet culture. While it lacks the technical innovation of newer blockchains, its strong community and celebrity endorsements (like Elon Musk) keep it relevant. Dogecoin proves that fun and finance can coexist in the crypto world.

“Much wow much doge”Doge is the embodiment of meme culture on crypto. It was a playful coin that evolve into something else, something much bigger that its initial purpose and with a bigger reach than a lot of irl companies. The good thing is that it is still evolving and new layers are being developed as I write this comment to give Dogecoin much more use cases and to be able to develop Defi there. Much wow

“Ultimately, DOGE’s ambition is not the main issue—it’s how that ambition is executed.”Ultimately, DOGE’s ambition is not the main issue—it’s how that ambition is executed. Without clear legal grounding, public transparency, or democratic oversight, it feels less like reform and more like a fast-track to disruption—with real risk of unintended damage.

“Memecoin boss”Dogecoin may have started as a joke, but it ended up marking a turning point in the crypto world. Thanks to it, the entire memecoin culture was born, which today drives huge communities and millions in volume. What I value most is that it showed that value in crypto doesn't always come from technology alone, but also from the community, humor, and collective energy. Dogecoin paved the way and remains a symbol that even the unexpected can change history.

“OG Memecoin”The first Memecoin that I remember. Showed how a Memecoin can make value. It pumped quite a bit after Elon tweeted about it. I remember Mark Cuban supporting it too at one time. The only issue it has in my opinion is the unlimited supply.

“A Community Like No Other”One of the best things about Dogecoin is its incredibly strong and supportive community. Whether it’s through charity initiatives, tipping creators, or just having fun with memes, the Dogecoin community really knows how to come together. It’s a welcoming space for anyone to get involved.
