“echo”Echo is this platform where you can throw money at crypto projects like the big dogs, even if you're just a regular dude with some cash. It was cooked up by coby, who's been around in crypto since day one - real OG vibes. I've been messing around with Echo's pre-sales and honestly, it's been pretty solid. You get to ape in early like those VC whales do. But real talk - not every project on Echo's gonna moon. Lots of 'em are straight-up busts, so you gotta DYOR hard before you throw your bags at anything. The platform's got its ups and downs, but what I'm really vibing with is how it levels the playing field. Everyone gets a shot to get in early, not just the suits with fat wallets.

“Always believed in cobie”What echo brought to the table is something that was definitely lacking, bringing project funding to average users is something we all hoped for in this space, i have to say though the mostly 5years terms really does make us into hardcore vc's. The level of projects that have turned up on echo speaks to the level of repect accorded to the project.

With cobie's influence in the market, he has managed to aggregate VC deals which were previously only exclusive to the cabals. While there were recent drama on certain fundraised projects, Echo has still successfully given retail a chance to experience privileges (and downsides) of a venture capital firm .

“Longerm positive impact on crypto”I think what cobie did with echo is a really cool thing that improves our space by a lot. Echo gives retail investors the opportunity to invest in projects in an early stage and potentially fair valuation which is usually something only VCs have access to. Rounds done on echo are a good indicator of how community aligned a Project is

“A net positive for the space”Echo allows retail investors to access a deals they might previously not have access to, as group leaders bring their own deal flow and share it with their members. It's very hit or miss however, as some groups keep listing absolute garbage, probably in an attempt to rack up carry fees. Some fantastic offers have been available however, like Plasma or MegaETH, and some deals have even more favourable terms than what was offered to VCs in previous rounds.

“Want to know what it's like to be VC”It's ICO meta nowadays and every time we have to check conditions, vesting, VC's cliff and so on - you don't want to become an exit liquidity. So you can try echo - quite elaborate KYC, lots of high risk warnings. And in the end you can get deals like this - very low fdv and a lot of time to wait. It's risky, all right, but can be very profitable. Just read the deal details and you can become somewhat of VC yourself! I've tried it myself and I'm counting days till tges now
