“echo — vc table without the vc badge”cobie dropped a platform that basically lets normal folks get into early rounds without being some big whale or suit. clean, no bs, you just see a raise, join if you vibe. feels way more fair than the usual vc eats first game.

“A good improvement for community/group raising”I have seen different platforms used for community investment rounds, one of the great one's being coinlist, this looks like a step further. Echo is still in it's early stages, but looks promising. It is more decentralized, more accessible by both projects looking to raise and individuals looking to invest. Despite the whole responsibility being placed on social consensus of different echo groups, things seem to be working just fine.

“made syndicates great again”deals were already being syndicated in this space long before the launch of Echo. so I think that is not the main benefit here. what Echo has really done, is remove some (definitely not all) of the stigma and secrecy around syndicating/pooling tickets into VC rounds. it was something that a lot of teams did not want to see happening on their cap table. in the future, I would love it if more seed rounds were being offered on Echo, versus late-stage rounds. especially for infra projects. this would even further reduce the asymmetry in gains between VCs and retail.

“Very Smooth Platform”Have been on echo since early days. I think it deficiently enables access to great deals and a very seamless experiences. however as cobie says they are super high risk venture bets so investing in them should be a careful decision
