From 283 activities · Apr 2026ENS (Ethereum Name Service) is a foundational decentralized naming system that transforms long wallet addresses into simple, human-readable .eth names, making crypto transactions safer, easier, and more accessible. Users consistently praise it for eliminating copy-paste errors, enabling seamless integration across wallets and dApps, and providing true ownership of digital identity independent of centralized platforms. While widely recognized as essential Web3 infrastructure with strong community support and a notable airdrop history, some concerns have been raised about pricing decisions and domain renewal fees.

Eroms · 1293· 1y ago6“Identity in web3”What I like most about ENS is that it provides something as simple as an easy to remember name within Web3. Moving from long, cold addresses to something like myName.eth is not only more convenient, it's also more human. It's one of those tools that doesn't boast, but completely changes the way you interact with the ecosystem.

almatruust · 1409· 1y ago11“that is an ethereum mainnet based name domain”I’ve seen firsthand what he brings, and it’s nothing short of remarkable. My confidence in him isn’t built on hearsay—it’s rooted in experience. He delivers with consistency, operates with integrity, and adds genuine value where it matters most. On-chain, he’s not just another name in the mix—he’s a presence you feel, a force that elevates the space. His contributions speak louder than any endorsement, and the respect he commands is proof. Trust in this space is rare, but he’s earned it the hard way—and that’s exactly why it lasts.

Yurii Paletskyi · 1316· 1y ago8“Innovators!”1. What ENS does Ethereum Name Service (ENS) replaces long hex wallet addresses with easy-to-remember names like alice.eth — making crypto transfers far more user‑friendly. 2. Community airdrop impact The initial ENS airdrop in October–November 2021 allocated governance tokens to early holders, rewarding long-time users and contributor groups. Reports indicate recipients earned substantial value, e.g. ~$11k turning into ~$15k. 3. Sentiment from users Reddit feedback was overwhelmingly positive: “If you have had a .eth for a while do yourself an absolute solid and go claim it.” In discussions on future airdrops, many regard the first airdrop as “pretty solid,” though note governance participation was low (~0.45%). 4. Safety & upscale cautions While ENS warned users about fake airdrop websites impersonating the project, the official airdrop remains legitimate and widely valued in the community. 5. Overall value & trust ENS is core Ethereum infrastructure — active in tokenized identity, domain registration, DAO governance, and community-first airdrop design. It’s practical and future-forward, with real utility now 99Bitcoins. I’m familiar with this project and believe they’re trustworthy at the time of writing. However, always do your own research!

LeoxCrane · 1244· 1y ago5“Your Identity & Name in Web3”ENS lets you replace long wallet addresses with a clean, readable .eth name, usable across wallets, dApps and Web3 platforms. It’s secure, widely supported and fully owned by you. If you’re active in Web3, having an ENS name just makes sense. My ENS: arshiags.eth
