Only later did I realize how much of the ecosystem traces back to him. As one of Ethereum’s co-founders and the founder of Consensys, Joe helped launch tools that literally define Web3 today: MetaMask, Infura, Linea, and many more that most of us use daily without even thinking. What makes him stand out is his long-game mindset. Joe keeps building infrastructure: funding teams, mentoring founders, and quietly pushing the ecosystem forward through Consensys Mesh. Even his recent move to SharpLink Gaming shows he’s still connecting Ethereum tech with real-world value. For me, Lubin represents the side of crypto that’s about building. Without people like him, Ethereum would just be an idea, not the foundation of an entire movement.
