Farcaster is a decentralized social protocol built on Base and Ethereum that emphasizes portable identity, on-chain ownership, and builder culture. The platform is praised for its clean UX, Frames (interactive posts), integrated wallet, and genuine community focused on real conversations rather than clout-chasing—often described as crypto Twitter done right. However, adoption remains a persistent challenge: monthly active users peaked around 80,000 in mid-2024 but collapsed to under 20,000 by late 2025, with critics noting it has failed to break out of the crypto bubble despite strong technology and funding. While early users and developers remain bullish on its potential and ecosystem of mini-apps, concerns persist about sustainability, moderation inconsistencies, and whether the platform can ever compete with X for mainstream attention.

“Good alternative to social media”Started off as invite only, so the early crowd was filtered with some great minds form crypto. The launch of mini-apps made it easy for devs to build on top and explore monetization. id argue this is the most successful alternate to traditional Social media there currently.

“Hear good things for creators”I hear good things about Farcaster. I have yet to try but many of my trusted friends who are creators say this is a great platform and trustworthy. I remain neutral until I try it for myself.

“Alpha”I like Farcaster. It doesn't present itself as a replacement for anything, but instead a new and different product. Where you will find something to your liking. Undoubtedly, it incorporates the best of social apps. The future will be Farcaster

“Good dApps on base.”Though it's lost its focus down the line, a new revive is definitely on the cards. There is ample amount of opportunities in the dApp. It should focus on what they promised to built for user when they gets a new lifeline. Being a regular user of the Farcaster, I definitely want it to see one of the best dApps in Base network.right now it's finding it difficult to maintain the user base but I am pretty sure this will break the market in coming days.It should also detect smartly the scamstars who are trying to make money using Farcaster app, there are lots of app is being published which doesn't have any authenticity & it's not being bring down.

“Отличный кейс с НФТ”Farcaster хорошая социальная сеть с функцией встроенного кошелька. Читал отзывы что хорошо вышла их НФТ, что тоже в последнее время редкость.

“A Fresh Social Experience in Web3”I started using Farcaster recently, and it actually feels different from the usual social platforms. The conversations are more genuine, the community is active, and the overall vibe is focused on building rather than noise. What I like the most is that it gives real ownership of your identity and content. You’re not stuck inside one app -you can move your profile across different clients, which is something traditional platforms don’t offer. The tech side is smooth, posting is quick, and the apps built on top of Farcaster keep getting better. It feels like a social network made for people who actually want to create and explore, not just scroll.

“Farcaster its place of opportunities!”Mints that generate profit are already happening through the platform. A drop is also expected, and it’s actively capturing a segment of the market. A platform that hasn’t been fully revealed yet and remains under the radar.

“Best Social Web3 so far.”While many social apps have been developed for Web3, Farcaster is the best and probably the biggest so far. It's much easier to get through the clutter of X and find lots of alpha information.

“Smart socials with incentives”I am genuinely impressed with what Farcaster has turned in to over the years, its current state with all the community developed mini-apps, multiple incentives to engage & interact, and the built in wallet are all fantastic. I have been doing swaps with the wallet and have been really impressed with the UI/UX. It has grown into exactly what it showed potential to be years ago, gg devs.
