“Creative Builder”I first came across Adam Fern through Pirate Nation, which instantly caught my attention as one of the most polished and fun on-chain games around. After that I dug a little deeper and realized his background goes way beyond gaming. From being part of the founding team at Cash App, to product leadership at Square Loans, and now co-founding Proof of Play, his track record speaks for itself. What makes him stand out to me is how he combines product excellence with personality. He’s not just building products, he’s also openly sharing his love for films, pizza, and music, reminding us that strong builders in Web3 can still be authentic and relatable. For me, Adam Fern represents the kind of founder the space needs: someone with serious experience, but also creativity and curiosity that push boundaries. Pirate Nation was just the entry point, looking at the bigger picture, he’s been shaping products people actually use for years.

“adam is him”Adam Fern has built a reputation in the fintech and crypto startup space through a series of impactful roles. He was part of the founding team at Cash App, where he worked on product development and risk systems during its early growth phase. His experience spans across product, risk, and operations, with roles at companies like Better.com, where he helped scale the team from hundreds to thousands, and LSQ, where he pushed digital innovation in a more traditional finance setting. In recent years, he’s shifted focus to the Web3 ecosystem, currently contributing to Proof of Play, a blockchain gaming company. His early involvement with Bitcoin payments and consulting work for Circle demonstrates a long-standing familiarity with decentralized finance. What stands out about him is his ability to drive growth at scale, particularly in highly regulated and complex environments. He’s worked at both hyper-growth startups and older financial institutions, managing to bring a product-first approach in each. Though he keeps a relatively low public profile, his impact within the companies he’s joined speaks through the milestones they’ve reached under his involvement.

“This image exudes vibrancy and creativity!”I really like Fran's profile, it has a creative and easygoing vibe. The "Get up Johnny Boy" in the bio immediately caught my eye and the profile picture is super unique (thanks to longlivethecatt). It feels like you never know what you're going to get, but there's always something interesting. Definitely worth following.
