WebsOwn · 1194· 1y ago7“Great artist that doesn't paint all of his works”Damien Hirst is a great british artist, with many artworks that stuck with me, especially the installation of the Great White shark called "The Physical Impossibility Of Death In The Mind Of Someone Living" from 1991 and ofc The Currency that he released together with HENI. The approach to create 10k physicals along with 10k NFTs and let the owner decide to keep either one of them and destroy the other made for a great onboarding and art collecting event, that was certainly good for the NFT space. On the other hand, he usually only create a few pieces of these larger collections himself and the rest is been done by his team. While I love his artworks, this always is a bit of a bummer.
