Initia is a modular Layer 1 blockchain built on Cosmos SDK that combines appchains and shared infrastructure through interwoven rollups, enabling seamless cross-chain interoperability without traditional bridging complexity. The project earned strong community trust through a transparent, generous airdrop and consistent engagement during testnet—rewarding contributors fairly and treating participants as partners rather than metrics. While praised for smooth UX, responsive team support, and solid technical architecture, adoption has stalled post-launch; activity declined significantly after the initial hype, and the project struggles to demonstrate clear market demand or differentiation from other modular solutions, leaving questions about long-term viability despite genuine community loyalty.

“Architect of Interwoven Rollups”Initia is a Cosmos‑SDK Layer‑1 that natively supports app‑specific “Minitia” Layer‑2 rollups via its Interwoven Stack, allowing seamless multichain experiences with EVM/Move/Wasm compatibility, unified accounts, and native bridging. Backed by Binance Labs, Delphi, Hack VC, and others, it launched its mainnet and INIT token in April 2025.

“Great community”My time on Initia was good and they rewarded correctly the community for the testnet and community engagement, but where will the chain go in the futur?

“the project is part of the Cosmos ecosystem”I am familiar with the Initia project, as I participated in their testnet and received a small airdrop, but I quickly drained some of it to cover the costs of gas and experiments. I am holding the remaining tokens in staking. The $INIT token has significantly decreased in value since the TGE, the ecosystem is still young.

“The "Apple of Blockchains" with a Centralized Core”A top-tier technical play for the modular thesis, but view it as a centralized platform play (like Solana or BSC) rather than a decentralized public good.

“The Bone Chain remains an extremely ambitious endeavor.”I didn't become too involved as a YAPPER, but I did tweet about it, so I'm happy I could raise some awareness. I truly appreciate the airdrop I received as well. Something went wrong throughout my cross-chain process, however the DC staff promptly replied and fixed the problem once I opened a case. It demonstrates how much they cherish and appreciate their community. Many thanks to the crew!

“The Modular Innovator”Focused on modular architecture, it lets developers customize execution and settlement layers. Its flexibility makes it attractive for new DeFi primitives. Adoption will define its future.

“Initia: Modular by design, trusted by conviction.”Initia is a modular Layer-1 built to support app-specific rollups with seamless interoperability and developer-friendly tooling. The project aims to combine Cosmos-style sovereignty with the efficiency of rollup architecture, creating a flexible foundation for the next wave of dApps. I’ve been following Initia for a long time. After receiving an airdrop, I chose to keep all my assets there — a reflection of the trust I have in both the team and the technology. I’ve even met some of the team members, including Thais, which only reinforced my view that this is a legit and well-built project. For me, Initia isn’t just another L1 experiment. It’s a serious contender, and one I personally believe has what it takes to last.

“From Technology to Community The Winning Edge of Initia”Initia is a modular blockchain built on Cosmos SDK that combines layer 1 and layer 2. The main layer provides security and liquidity, and developers can create custom rollups called Minitia that run on EVM, MoveVM or WasmVM. With the Interwoven Stack all tools such as SDK, DEX, bridge and wallet are available in one place which makes launching projects faster. Recently Initia launched a campaign on Kaito where users can create content about the project to both participate and earn rewards. In my opinion the combination of strong technology and an active community is its biggest strength.
