Initia is a modular Layer 1 blockchain built on Cosmos SDK that combines appchains and shared infrastructure through interwoven rollups, enabling seamless cross-chain interoperability without traditional bridging complexity. The project earned strong community trust through a transparent, generous airdrop and consistent engagement during testnet—rewarding contributors fairly and treating participants as partners rather than metrics. While praised for smooth UX, responsive team support, and solid technical architecture, adoption has stalled post-launch; activity declined significantly after the initial hype, and the project struggles to demonstrate clear market demand or differentiation from other modular solutions, leaving questions about long-term viability despite genuine community loyalty.

“A very ambitious Modular blockchain design”it combines a Cosmos-based L1 with app-specific rollups through its “Interwoven Stack.” In practice, it aims to simplify launching application chains while pooling liquidity and security, a vision that could make it a key hub in the interchain economy if executed well. it is also fairly generous to its early testers through structured airdrops. However The NFT community felt underserved, and some processes like node incentives caused friction. However I do think what they are aiming for is very laudable

“Good but not best”They really do the great reward for their community but with another level of reward seems it not balance like 6 7 is the same but 8 is a big different

“Honest generous drop but what next?”Initia made one of the most honest, transparent and rewarding airdrops for a long time, when testnents actually managed to reward the early supporters. Comparing Initia with today's circus projects like Camp, Movement, Pharos is like comparing Real Madrid and Levski Sofia (no disrepsect Levski). But the future of the chain in unclear to me.

“What's @initia?”Initia is a Cosmos-based modular L1 that coordinates a network of app-specific L2 rollups called Minitias, designed to feel like one interwoven chain for users and liquidity. Mainnet went live on April 24, 2025, alongside the INIT token launch and a 30-day claim window for the inaugural distribution. The X feed highlights product shipping, governance, and ecosystem growth InitiaDEX liquidity routes, OPinit rollup stack, wallet/bridge tooling, and Foundation proposals to bootstrap core assets framed around a simple promise: appchains without the fragmentation tax.

“Did better than everyone else”When I started doing testnet, I had no idea how it would all end. I got a great drop, a ton of emotions, and a huge amount of experience. Initia turned out to be cooler than Zora and Hyperlane. Here's an exxample of a cool project that makes everyone happy!

“one of my favourite layer-1 chains”initia brings a very unique concept with their chain. having various solution-specific roll-ups all connected seamlessly on the network impressed me since day one. i also love their vested interest program (vip) which not only promotes ecosystem growth over time, it also actively incentivizes users' onchain activities.

“Highly developing”I rarely see a Web3 project that truly takes a step forward rather than just throwing around buzzwords. Initia is just that. It's not just a blockchain, but an entire infrastructure with L1 and flexible L2 roles, where each chain (“Minitia”) can be tailored to specific taskswhether it's DeFi, GameFi, or social applications. This architecture really simplifies development and speeds up the launch of dApps.

“Initia is a testnet, the main network in which I am a personal participant and observer”I got to know Initia through their testnet and participated in person — created a wallet in their system, contributed liquidity, completed tasks and received places on the whitelist for an NFT mint. This experience gave me a clear understanding of how their platform is structured and what opportunities it opens up in practice. Initia is a Layer-1 blockchain based on Cosmos using interwoven rollups, simplifying the creation of Layer-2 networks (Minitias) and making the system flexible and modular. The testnet pleasantly surprised with a well-thought-out UX: a built-in wallet, gamified missions like “Baby Jennie”, XP accrual and NFT rewards create motivation and engage in the process. I especially liked: Interactivity — tasks, NFT and XP mechanics make the interaction fun and useful. Sense of involvement — the platform values activity and rewards participation. Technical basis — modular architecture, cross-Rollup transactions and the desire to simplify the UX. Overall, my attitude towards the project is positive — Initia looks like a well-thought-out and promising infrastructure for DeFi and NFT. If the team continues to develop convenience and usefulness, they have every chance of taking a prominent place in the ecosystem.

“Community driven”Initia gave me one of my best IBC blockchain experiences during their testnet. Smooth performance and clear design made it easy to explore and understand their network in depth.

“It's not just about the cute dog in the first person.”I tested this project together with my friends. Everything worked as it should and still works quite well. Most of all I remember the test for the interesting idea of quests, and most importantly, the project rewarded very well those who really worked on it. And not just for roles in discord like some of the ones coming out now. In short, I can’t say anything bad about this project, but I can’t say anything outstanding either.

“"Building the Future of Modular Blockchains with @initia"”@initia stands out in the crowded crypto space by actually making complex blockchain tech feel approachable. Their universal gas system is a game-changer — no more scrambling to figure out which token you need for fees. It's like having a blockchain that just handles the annoying stuff for you. What really sets them apart is the community energy. Instead of corporate announcements, you get updates that feel like hearing from a friend who's building something incredible. With backing from Binance Labs and real progress to show, they've got both credibility and personality. While other projects get caught up in drama and hype, @initia keeps it real with actual progress updates, feature testing invites, and just enough humor to keep things fun. They make modular blockchain architecture sound as exciting as discovering a cheat code.
