Initia is a modular Layer 1 blockchain built on Cosmos SDK that combines appchains and shared infrastructure through interwoven rollups, enabling seamless cross-chain interoperability without traditional bridging complexity. The project earned strong community trust through a transparent, generous airdrop and consistent engagement during testnet—rewarding contributors fairly and treating participants as partners rather than metrics. While praised for smooth UX, responsive team support, and solid technical architecture, adoption has stalled post-launch; activity declined significantly after the initial hype, and the project struggles to demonstrate clear market demand or differentiation from other modular solutions, leaving questions about long-term viability despite genuine community loyalty.

“Redefining Blockchain with Seamless Innovation”As a Layer 1 blockchain built on the Cosmos SDK, Initia tackles the fragmentation issues plaguing multichain ecosystems with its interwoven rollup architecture. The way it combines a robust L1 with customizable Layer 2 Minitias makes app development feel effortless, offering developers tools like the OPinit Stack and support for EVM, MoveVM, and WasmVM. The Enshrined Liquidity model is a standout, tying network security to real liquidity provision, which feels like a smarter, more efficient approach than traditional staking. With fast 500ms block times, 10,000 TPS throughput, and interoperability via Cosmos’ IBC protocol, Initia delivers a smooth, scalable experience. The community-driven vibe, backed by initiatives like the 50M INIT airdrop, shows their commitment to early adopters. If you’re into DeFi, NFTs, or just want a blockchain that’s developer-friendly and future-proof, initia is a must-explore

“Honest Team, Strong Potential”My experience with Initia has been nothing but positive. The first thing that stands out is how the team treats its community. Even in a tough market, they delivered a fair and meaningful airdrop — a clear sign of integrity and respect for their users. On the tech side, Initia isn’t yet on the level of the biggest chains in terms of TVL, dApps, or mass adoption. But the foundation is strong: a modular L1 + rollup architecture, smooth tools, and a genuinely engaged community. It’s still early, but the direction is promising, and it feels like Initia is building for long-term value rather than quick hype.

“They did not support real users”Initia allocated millions of tokens to Kaito users, but in doing so, they overlooked their real, long-term supporters. My friend ran a validator node for a long time, was officially selected, yet received zero tokens. They generated major hype through NFTs, promising that NFT communities would be eligible for VIP rewards — only to exclude them in the end. The tokenomics feel misaligned, and the distribution process was poorly executed. A significant portion of tokens also went to Binance, raising further concerns about decentralization and fairness.

“Interwoven chains one vision”I know this person through twitter, initia builds the L1 framework where liquidity, governance, and appchains aren't separate silos

“Another L1 for nothing”Guys does anybody knows the purpose of that project? What is they added value to web3 world? I must admit a 'bug' in yearly ealds calculator on launch. I didnt believe that it was a sudden bug. Instead they maybe use it to push people into staking with high APY promised.

“The best Intero chain”I’ve been following the Initia project for a while now, and I’m really impressed by the vision and execution. What stands out to me is how they combine strong technical infrastructure with a clear focus on usability, making it easier for both developers and users to engage with the ecosystem. The team seems dedicated, transparent, and consistent in delivering updates, which builds a lot of confidence for the community. Overall, Initia feels like a project with real long-term potential, not just hype, and I’m excited to see how it continues to grow.

“This is an interesting and innovative solution.”I worked on this project last year, the concept was interesting and something new at the time, it was a solution to some problems in the market and I liked their idea and concept, and I got a good result, the team always stuck to its roadmap, so I personally can't say anything bad.
