Initia is a modular Layer 1 blockchain built on Cosmos SDK that combines appchains and shared infrastructure through interwoven rollups, enabling seamless cross-chain interoperability without traditional bridging complexity. The project earned strong community trust through a transparent, generous airdrop and consistent engagement during testnet—rewarding contributors fairly and treating participants as partners rather than metrics. While praised for smooth UX, responsive team support, and solid technical architecture, adoption has stalled post-launch; activity declined significantly after the initial hype, and the project struggles to demonstrate clear market demand or differentiation from other modular solutions, leaving questions about long-term viability despite genuine community loyalty.

“Worst Team Ever”Unfortunately, my experience with Initia has been disappointing. The team showed little to no real support for their NFT community, and their actions seemed solely focused on personal financial gain. It comes across more like a self-serving operation than a genuine project. I can't say I support or trust what they’re doing.

“Fun playing”One of the few blockchains that has created an interesting and engaging testnet for its network. And they complemented it with an excellent drop

“Good play”Have to wait, but in the and it will be a great deal.

“An ongoing project”Initia on X shares news about its Layer 1 on Cosmos SDK with modular L2 appchains. The posts talk about the progress of the ecosystem and the 50M INIT airdrop. The project offers ideas for developers in the DeFi and NFT space, but is still in the growth stage. An interesting option for those who follow new blockchains.

“Always Bullish”Unlike other projects airdrop distribution model initia noted some things and executed for long term believers , not for short term jeeters . Those who played well will get both skins and rewards

“Cosmos SDK L1”Initia is a blockchain platform built using the Cosmos SDK that functions as both a Layer 1 chain and a framework for deploying custom Layer 2 rollups, known as Minitias.

“Challenging quest”I participated in their quest, which took place in testnet. But, unfortunately, my Jenny died, so I managed to reach the end.

“ibc chain with jenny vibes”started reading them in august 2025. ran through initia testnet like a true degen, fed my jenny till she hit max upgrade. tbh the ibc perf was clean, no lag, smooth ux. got that fat airdrop allocation, not some dust play. saw them irl once, same chill energy as in chat. team actually listens, rewards power users, anti sybil filters on point. if you want l1 that mixes cosmos tech with fun, initia hits different.

“Real Product”This project has a ton of potential. While I wasn’t deeply involved as a YAPPER, I did help spread the word through some tweets—glad to have contributed in a small way. I was also fortunate to receive an airdrop, which I truly appreciate. At one point, I ran into a hiccup during the cross-chain process, but after submitting a ticket on Discord, the team responded quickly and resolved everything efficiently. That level of responsiveness shows just how much they value their community. Big thanks to the team!

“Underrated L1 in my opinion”This L1 had a solid airdrop allocation (I participated) - I felt it was fair. It balanced testnet users based on how consistently they used the chain, not just how many referrals they got, with a bit of casino-style luck. I haven't sold my initial airdrop and used it to explore the ecosystem - it's been smooth so far. 20/10 hopefully people will get onboard
