As a publisher, I see firsthand how actively he supports games on his network, adapts to shifting metas, and continuously works to drive value and onboard new users. Few builders are as hands-on as he is.

Daryl downplays his knowledge as he's not working full time in web3 but his strategy to learn - which is creating content & hosting spaces - paid off tremendously as he was in tune with what was going on the industry. Great energy & will be keeping tabs on him!

It was odd at first to see this stick mfer reply giving me an overview of the situation & how he's looking into it & just clicked later on that he's the CTO. It's not often you'll find someone looking for bugs etc on X From a user experience, the platform works smoothly in most instances & the approach Ethos takes in building in public is an attestation to how fast Ben can iterate & ship.

on zkMe · 1249· 8mo ago29“Leader amongst RollUp Frameworks deserving of respect”At one point, there were 4 contenders: - Arbitrum - Optimism - zksync - PolygonCDK The latter two are mostly left out of conversations currently & its seems the remaining leaders are OP & ARB Optimism has done tremendously well securing high profile partners to use their OP stack for their L2's - most notable is Base but they've also accomplished an impressive feat onboarded Kraken (Ink), Worldcoin & Sony (Soneium). There is definitely a Base dominance so remains to be seen whether it's worth for them to keep donating 15% of their chain revenue for Retro PGF. The only shame is that its own L2 isn't really used for much anymore - I recall at one point usage was really encouraged.

It's no secret the narrative around restaking/shared security but I liked their initial strategy where they would be very selective with their DSS (their network's equivalent to Eigen's AVS's) & would only work with one category leader (e.g. coprocessors, bridges, oracles etc)

I'm apprehensive on pushing out a negative review from the get-go as that seems too harsh but also out of consideration for the fact I think he's an actual person. The users reviewing him all speak highly of him as a trencher that's constantly active in their communities. I wish he provided more contextual & relevant insights across his reviews.

It was in hindsight a very smart move to build up a community & have provide distribution to a otherwise siloed demographic. We're in heaps of mutual group chats & everyone of my peers speak highly of Apple (Fridge, Abhi etc) - there was the occasional meet up but we've never had a lengthy IRL conversation. TLDR: - very strong builder network - knowledgeable on consumer crypto

What really stood out to me, especially through tools like gomtu.xyz/yapper-stats, is how intentional his yapping strategy is. He’s zeroed in on Camp, 0G, and Mitosis - two of which are well-funded, and one that’s become a crowd favorite. Content-wise, he goes a layer deeper than most. What I appreciate most is his ability to frame things with context and relevant comparison - it’s what makes his stuff sticky
