Jokes aside, I've known of Paul for a long time even prior to becoming closer. Our company Clique started building identity oracles & CARV was also focusing on identity at the time so he was on my radar for sure. It's only at a IRL event that we met & everything clicked - since then he's been crushing it at Carv & always proactively offering to help. Not just a pretty boy, but a good lad so let's put this to test by leaving his telegram: @pauldelio if he helps out, you leave an upvote If he doesn't, then you downvote me (Paul don't nuke my score please)

Lemz stood out as a kind dude & we exchanged insights more than a few times - and I do attest he has a good operator aperture from actively studying strategies.

Conversation picked up naturally from there & we hopped on a call without an agenda in mind. When I describe him as helpful, I genuinely mean it - I recalled from earlier conversations he spoke about setting up a node & so I checked in on him - to which he sent more materials & tutorials my way. Someone that goes above & beyond - would be a blessing for any team to have him.

Right or wrong, he stands by his thesis and isn’t afraid to back what he believes in. His recent project and evolving stance on web3 gaming are clear examples of that.

Smokey's a very nurturing founder & he's the type of builder you can quickly see people rallying behind him - lowkey the Naruto of web3 except less loud & not annoying.

He's been around for ages from the earlier days of Binance & has crushing it consistently with Impossible Finance. Impossible Fi began as a launchpad & you have to commend Calvin for identifying opportunities early & supporting some of the largest projects - they supported Xai in kickstarting the Node Meta last year, replicated that success with Aethir (150m worth of nodes sold), Sophon (70m+), 0G & Carv (30m + each). It's not just the node infra tech but the strategy, the distribution etc And that just covers the node component. Calvin is also a very seasoned investor & he's (unknowingly) contributed alot to my growth just during simple exchanges. Big Ups!

People call him out for it, but I respect it. On a more serious note, I think it’s crucial to have people around who say things as they are. For a long time, Web3 was stuck in this WAGMI bubble - and now that the euphoria’s faded, it’s obvious that mindset didn’t really push the space forward. Uncomfortable conversations and calling out how bad things actually are - those move the needle, even if they’re not always fun. On a lighter note, working in this space is a lot more enjoyable with personalities like Jonah around. My feed feels like a real forum - half chaos, half insight, pure entertainment. Professionally, Jonah’s takes are more often informed than not. And on a personal note, he’s a genuinely kind dude in real life from our brief encounters.

It's only been 2 weeks but I'd say so far he's crushing it - he's not a crypto native but he's already had an output superior to past hires. For e.g. on the BD side - I gave him a shortlist of projects to revert with leads that were harder to find (no mutuals, no group chats, no common investors, no socials), the following is proof of his resourcefulness - went on LinkedIn to find the full name of the founder - use a 3rd party scrapper to find the founder's phone number - added on telegram - GC created he's also chronically using AI tools & trying out new products frequently so I'm hoping for him to establish stronger feedback loops with our product team & supercharge our development - an area I think many teams in web3 constantly neglect.

Not a lot of founders can make that claim of surviving a crypto winter & coming out stronger. Safe to attribute that achievement to SafZ but my gut will tell me he'll be humble & give credit to the community.
