“Quasi Flawless Airdrop Execution”I'm going to regurgitate my content on X but so far: - No backlash on the timeline. - 80%+ claim rate. - INIT trending up (30+%) I'd say it's only on Ethos I'm seeing some negative reviews around the 6% listing fee on Binance but it's also important to takeaway that as an L1 distribution to wider set of participants is ever more important for growth of the network & their appchains (if Initia doesn't secure T1 listings, that's one huge hurdle for their appchains to onboard CEX users down the line) So while its a steep price, I still understand why they made this decision. But anyways here's what I like: Purpose Driven> Hype Most airdrops optimise for noise Initia optimised for conversion: turning testnet users into long-term mainnet participants. It might be premature to say this but the community sentiment reflects this. From the start, they focused on educating around $INIT utility, the VIP program, and seeding alignment with appchains. the proof: 50% of supply reserved for onchain governance and long-term alignment through VIP incentives Healthy Claim Rate Claim rate topped 80% in the first 24 hours. I can only assume this is due to a few factors: - Over two weeks of open registration - Time to link multiple accounts - Clear communication from team members - Frictionless setup for real users - Their checker/registration portal & claims site worked perfectly. Anti-Sybil Measures seem to have actually worked (for once) through a mix of fake Merkle proofs, Frontend trace detection, Gitcoin Passport. Community Participation - Users who engaged deeply didn't get a linear boost but a multiplicative one - Attention to detail and quest completion mattered more (e.g. a level 6 user with 5 quests would be able to earn more than a level 7 user with 4 quests) Attribution Testnet users often get overlooked. Initia centered them. > 89% to testnet users > 4.5% to power users (IBC, LayerZero, LSTs) > 6% to social contributors (Discord, X, Telegram) All time-weighted by depth of contribution. They also opted to include more yappers than other projects to foster more inclusivity as they understand participation in their appchains will be net positive for the entire ecosystem. needless to say, I'm an initia maxi nowon Initia 🪢 · 1635· 1y ago22
