Over time, I've gotten quite close with many team members from that team (Hunter, David, Wen, Jack etc) & only have positive things to say. They are one of the more professional teams I've worked with, support with them is never half-baked, the ethos of decentralisation is strong, they understand what adoption truly means, they demonstrate ethereum alignment time & time again, their focus on the product & practical infrastructure is what attracts top projects to leverage their framework (e.g. Robinhood recently, Ostium, Proof of Play etc) I'm rooting for Arbitrum

I've been keeping tabs on Pirate Nation for a long while - ever since they were on Polygon & had a free mint. Strategically, PoP has always made the right moves - spending 5 figures daily on gas fees on Polygon & thus moving to Nova to building their own Orbit chain(s), abstracting the clunky wallet UX, not pursuing hype metrics but instead real retention data, being transparent in their product milestones, Verifiable RNG - you name it. They've established themselves to be masters of distribution as well.

They receive a lot of hate but it's important to note they didn't exactly have a playbook to follow & success was quickly emulated by the rest whereas failure served a lesson as to what avoid (e.g. over-dilution of their brand with too many collections, acquisitions, fragmenting adoption due to too many projects in parallel, NFT mint models). Haven't paid too much attention on the Apechain side of things aside from the recent proposals to sunset the DAO & allow the foundation to take back control which I think for an early stage project is crucial to react flexibly.

The builder chat also went quiet for a brief stint hence why I think Andre's leadership & team is something every project should study in depth because it's nothing but miraculous how they pushed through & today arguably have one of the more vibrant chats (the builder chat is very active). Aside from that, I think he reflects the ethos of founder led marketing well & he's a great source of information, sharing his input on Sonic but also other projects (e.g. Berachain's POL) in a tactful fashion whereas many builders in his position tend to go the PVP route. admirable builder.

What stands out - especially evident in his recent traction with Story -is his ability to stay grounded rather than chasing every new meta just for the sake of it. That perspective makes it easier to gauge what resonates with different corners of CT. For any builders or founders, he’s someone who will always provide thoughtful and valuable feedback.

After a scroll, it's apparent the reviews stop at a over generalised one liner which does not provide contextual information. leaving a neutral review instead of a negative one as a heads up of sort - hoping you contribute more meaningfully down the line!

It's definitely less upside, but he seems more long term oriented to work with these teams & really guide their growth - placing concentrated bets rather than spraying & hoping for a win. this level of conviction is refreshing & i hope he succeeds.

on Alexy Joven · 1256· 1y ago19“Happy to leave a review for Synapse”Clique & Synapse's relationship began years ago when we were an identity protocol & Synapse was one of the better performing bridges on OP. They played an important role participating in a campaign we had with OP - which was really the start of Clique getting more visibility. I caught up with them recently so what I like is that they didn't settle for just being a bridge but their focus is on establishing them in the DeFAI space as an intelligent cross-chain messaging platform allowing teams to plug & play with many security modules. They're extremely UX centric using privy to power chain abstracted accounts & allowing them to deposit/convert assets using a mix of solvers/relayers to achieve the user's outcome with minimal friction. Rooting for them

I'm mainly referring to their gaming strategy where they only publicly work with a dozen titles to that & they're the heavy hitters in town most folks talk about: - Off the Grid - Maplestory I think in terms of positioning they're also doing quite well, AVAX 9000 seemed to make moves a while back (cheapest way to deploy your network using their tech stack). They also adapt quickly to market metas such as Star Arena (friend.tech competitor) & proved it many other times. A name that's here to stay

Despite the system being heavily gamed & them revising it, I really like what it attempted doing: Crypto fundamentally has an alignment problem. Boop initially thought it smart to release the tokens at the start as the alignment piece to get exposure to a portion of the revenue from subsequent launches. Will be keeping a close eye!

on boop.fun · 1575· 1y ago18“pmf.fun”Pros: - you have to respect the fact they found PMF - winner's mindset with their product suite expansion building pump.swap - led to an increase of consumer dapps & interesting projecs Cons: - accelerated the altcoin cycle & diluted other coins - long term net negative as it's an extractive business & also failed to attract retail
