If you are ever bearish on crypto & what could be achieved, this following post he made is one I have bookmarked often & added to my vision for the industry & what it can be. https://x.com/0xDesigner/status/1823777664718791106 Like the name infers, he's a veteran at UI/UX & prolifically shares his ideas (for free).

I was actually impressed - they manage to bring in high profile founders & are very consistent posting every tuesday. Will be leaving a neutral review as personally the episodes are too long & its rare for viewers to dive in 1hr + long I would like to see more bite-sized recap the same way "What the Shift" does, with subtitles & good editing.

As simple as it sounds, idle RPGs are one of the most befitting genres for the majority of web3 users who aren't looking to actively manage positions & instead want something which requires less involvement. Plus, having met Skarly IRL, he sounds like a pretty grounded, nice & forward thinking founder.

Moreover, Alex's tweets are personally insightful & its clear he's a crypto native that understands web3 culture. I haven't had the pleasure to meet him IRL yet but he's also chronically online & has replied to my cold DM - which was pleasant coming from such a high profile CEO

He has a rare ability to deconstruct complex ideas and contribute meaningfully to the broader conversation, pushing the space forward. What’s even more impressive is how much he’s already accomplished at such a young age - and how much more is still brewing with Spire. More people should be following his work, and builders like him deserve greater recognition to collectively raise the bar.

Instead, Sandra as a creator & brand advocate has been more active on the TL, creating video content that doesn't shill Kaito too hard but also experimenting with different AI tools which I derived alot of insights from.

on Sandra · 1665· 1y ago17“The Heart of Surgence”Surgence has had an aspirational journey from a grassroots community centred around providing alpha to where its at today as a fully fledged GTM partner for many projects. This success is attributed to both team & of course community, which Mia oversees.

on Bailey.ron · 1292· 1y ago17“From Rugs to Riches: A potential runner for a web3 success story”We all know Pudgies came to fame after Luca Netz publicly bidded for the IP. Pixelmon had a similar story - overpromises from an immature founder, an overpriced mint at 3ETH per egg that ended up with cheap fiver art. Needless to say the community was rightfully angry. The current leadership, Giulo (ex-Zalora), acquired the IP alongside Chris & reskinned Pixelmon into the web3 brand it is today. They've started with improving the assets, embracing their origins creatively (they made an ugly NFT called Kevin DeRug part of the main continuity) & initially set up $MON for great success (despite web3 gaming sentiment being at an ATL & every team tied to that vertical suffering as a result). All in all, the project has lost some of its flair after their token launch but I know they are still making good progress on their game, their anime & aiming to increase the appetite for their token via their launchpad mechanics (stake $MON get partner incentives) My only feedback: I hope they will be able to make their product a hit because everything hinges on that: whoever controls distribution holds the key to the universe. I feel that'd make it an easier avenue for other IPs to get their assets integrated which could present a good opportunity to tie it with $MON

There wasn't an angle to be worked on at the time but I kept up with his work. Fast track a few months, Jack makes his big reveal leading DeFi at Berachain, a massive undertaking I feel too many builders would shy away from but he stepped up, and he's been crushing it. We've fortunately had meaningful exchanges when Clique was supporting Berachain with building out the airdrop & he was very active in those conversations. The ecosystem wouldn't be the same without him & I'm very thankful to have made a friend with such a bright mind.

on Cap'n Jack · 1602· 1y ago17“A leader in its vertical - Always pushing boundaries”I think the other Ethos reviews cover the bulk of what Ronin does so i'll provide a personal anecdote of something I am quite appreciative of their team: despite focusing on gaming, Ronin as an ecosystem is deeply technical & always open to invest in experimental solutions. They're also strategically astute & did an excellent job with Pixels which attracted even more builders to migrate to their network. After I joined Clique in 2023, being new to BD I did what every ignorant person did - I went on LinkedIn (don't downvote me please). A stroke of luck was when I connected with Bailey Tan - the chad that heads the ecosystem at Sky Mavis / Ronin - and they were just starting to open up their permissioned ecosystem. Many people confuse Ronin for only working with games but I can vouch that they were one of the first networks that were highly advocates for onchain reputation (Clique started building identity oracles) & we worked closely together for a campaign providing their end users the ability to attest to their web2 steam gaming activity (e.g. most played genres etc). https://blog.roninchain.com/p/introducing-clique-on-ronin -- TLDR: Ronin has shown time & time again the ability to experiment & alignment with their dapps - as the ecosystem just became permissionless, expect alot more innovations on maximising capital efficiency of their gamers & supercharge their UX.
