I wasn't too sold on Jokerace initially but he's the kind of founder that is so charismatic & pushes through so hard that I've gotten pilled recently. One of the beacons in my books for Founder Led Marketing

There are definitely less builders than before but those numbers were made up for a stronger institutional presence (probably due to that side of crypto being the most viable presently and/or all the IPOs planned out this year). As for the event itself, the venue was alright - but it was always about the people altitude sickness is rough though

That said, upon screening his X I actually found a broad array of alpha: he's involved in various promising communities, from your AVAX trenches, to Succinct, to Yapping & even the Bitcoin Ecosystem. Leaving a positive review after seeing him post about BOS & how one asset class I owned made me eligible for the airdrop.

I believe there will be two components that teams will start to adopt after this: - IAO (initial attention offering) > I wouldn't be surprised if Kaito Capital Launchpad followed this exact premise & that Loud allowed them to fine-tune their model to better score users, their claimed alignment, activity post IAO relative to others etc - Revenue Share of Trading Fees with top mindshare users > I believe you're going to see more teams leverage InfoFi to track who are the top users who bring visibility to the projects I'm pro experimentation & this has broadened my own horizons on what I think would create more alignment with the community & facilitate more ambassadors to find their respective homes with teams.

Jokes aside, I’ve connected with him a few times & we had some pretty insightful conversations - also appreciate how despite not being close he’ll still give the time of the day to chat - not something every high profile builder can do Someone who’s knowledge runs deep, Treeverse is a popular web3 game & Pluid is a great platform for insights on ecosystems

Huge respect to Lamboland for pushing the envelope further & I personally can't wait to see the next thing he's working on.

on Lamboland · 1832· 1y ago40“I'm an Ethos Enjoyoorrr”I'm on a 40D streak of using Ethos & I won't deny at one point clocking in simply doing the daily contributions. The platform as it stands is far from perfect but I think it shows great promise. Here's an overview of what could use your improvement: > increase the onboarding of builders in the space: the platform currently makes it easier & more fruitful to onboard your peers in the space which isn't a big issue. The issue is that builders also need to feel compelled to join the network as they are the ones who will be using some of the infra/services out there & have the capacity to leave feedback that most users wouldn't necessarily know. Builders however are usually strung up between meetings etc, so it's about ensuring there's a sticky mechanism (akin to Kaito Smart Followers) that encourage them to join e.g. users have to meaningfully engage with their content on X & if they manage to get a review from them, they will get a boost > create a more opaque XP system: this is the trade off with laying out rules e.g. review gives you 5 points, invite gives you 15k points etc it'd be much better if these points were provided contextually according to the quality of your review whereby your content needs to be upvoted/downvoted by a number of folks to fully unlock & these users need to have a social graph that doesn't just feed into your echo chamber. > when a profile gets slashed, they should freeze the ability for users to review either profiles (to prevent communities retaliating & then deterring a user in speaking his honest thoughts) > small UX add where a user reviewing a profile in the daily contribution could have either a summary of that user based on the reviews he's received > more education around what a good review looks like - potentially a structure to abide by so there's less slop being pushed out Here's what I'm excited about this platform: > networking: successful teams have an insane amount of inbound polluting their DMs. Having a good reputation score on Ethos, provided they opened up the plaform, should make conversion rates higher. This also applied to different creators. > attribution: every team struggles with getting the right stakeholders onboard & true alignment is a tough nut to crack. I think that's where Ethos could provide another source of users, not simply shilling on the TL but rather providing valuable reviews (the conditions for the snapshot could be: have <1600 score & left a detailed review of the protocol airdropping with the following guidelines)

All in all, he's quite involved even sitting with Autonomous on ensuring every launch goes smoothly recently worked with Perle but have done a few other launches too

It wasn't a vapour product as well with the product being refined for traders. Blur's actual airdrop made many people happy. Cons - its a shame they didnt further venture into the multi-chain model (Berachain, Abstract, etc). We can argue about how it didn't have a viable roadmap & Pacman shifted his focus to Blast nevertheless I feel that

Cygaar stands out as one of the few who’s both grounded and widely respected, even before his work with Abstract. Time and time again, he’s made complex concepts easy to understand, breaking down intricate systems with rare clarity. 10/10.
