“Objectively a piece of shit of a person, but ha done a lot to make the space progress”We all know Justin sun, and his endless shenanigans - which as always remain silly until they involve you. He’s a borderline scammer and money launderer, but at the same time, he’s one of the space’s most pivotal figures and founders - a pioneer. It’s crazy, but also in a poetic way embodies everything crypto is about to me. So yeah, I’ll go for a neutral review - I certainly wouldn’t recommend him as a figure to follow amongst the various crypto founders.

In 2023 he faced SEC charges alleging wash trading and using celebrities to pump TRON. Over the years he’s also been accused of copying code and leaning on heavy handed tactics. None of that builds trust for me. Things didn’t look better in 2025. Around the World Liberty Financial launch, there were on chain claims that a wallet linked to him dumped tokens and ended up blacklisted and frozen, which sent prices sliding. Critics also tied his name to past exchange incidents and money laundering probes. He pushed back on X, but the drama kept growing. Add in the lawsuits, headline grabbing purchases, and constant hype, and I’m left with a simple conclusion. There’s too much smoke here. I avoid his projects and keep my distance. 1 out of 5 stars.
