“succinct: community first??”succinct has tried community building several times. I was at the beginning of the very first phase around june or october 24 (not sure of the exact month) when the server first opened and activity started. I got a helper role, actively helped on the server, tweeted and kept a 'gmoon math' streak. then the project disappeared for a very long time. i.e. many helpers and contributors remained on the server, but there was almost no news from the project. especially with the community at that time worked only with one person (yinger), and there was quite a noticeable chaos in the work. after a few months, the project returned and finally started the testnet phase (Crisis of Trust), in which I actively participated. however, I had no more energy left to help in discord - too many people came, the rules changed a lot, old roles were taken away, and the project gained a very strong hype and became one of the most notable projects in the current season. I have been involved in all phases of the testnet, my first tweet about succinct was in June 2024, but unfortunately I only have the Rustacean role (which was saved to reward early contributors to the project) and onchain achievements left. but gprove! although with a slight tinge of disappointment, as the new approach to community building seemed to me to be excessively childish, carefree and “positive”, whereas the project had every reason to be teenage-hype rather than childish: like Berachain, for example. let's see how Succinct behaves after the TGE (it's so close) and what will happen to its main contributorson Succinct · 1749· 1y ago12
