An early Eclipse OG with deep knowledge and consistent activity across web3 projects, known for genuine community commitment, thoughtful engagement, and supporting newcomers—though one reviewer raised concerns about unsolicited vouch exchanges and farming practices.

“What is Monad now? It's trash, and you've become a trash can”Monad has been one of the more controversial projects in crypto. It often felt more focused on marketing than on delivering concrete achievements or meaningful products. From my perspective, there wasn’t enough real output compared to the level of hype, and at times it seemed like attention and incentives were heavily skewed toward certain groups within the community. The community itself also felt quite polarized. Some parts were extremely enthusiastic and closely aligned with the team, while others felt excluded or underrepresented. Over time, this created a bit of a closed ecosystem where criticism or different viewpoints didn’t always get much space. I personally was in the early Telegram OG groups a few years ago, and a lot of the activity there felt more like speculation and hype rather than execution focused discussion. It often gave the impression that the community was more about loyalty to the team than constructive building. Later on, the airdrop distribution also became a point of debate, especially regarding how much value went to public figures or external contributors compared to long term community members. This led to mixed feelings among early supporters. The Discord environment, like many large crypto communities, could also feel quite intense at times, especially with status and roles influencing dynamics. Overall, while the project still has strong technical ambition and vision, the way the community and incentives were handled left a portion of users with concerns and disappointmenton Keone Hon · 1861· 4mo ago · negative15
