He's not just a great artist (and fellow Pepe lover) but a true force in the space. Some people spread culture, others shape it—Batz does both. One of the most genuine and supportive people, always pushing people forward in the right way. If there were ever a guardian of meme knowledge, he would be the most welcoming (and buffed) one you've ever seen.

There was clear issues with it: - The team should have expected this price crash if they knew how Base DAO launches work. Not every people that participated in the presale knew about the Base DAO mechanics (initial liquidity being only the token and ETH meant for treasury) - Founder claimed he added 100K after launch. Adding liquidity minutes after launch is too late; early buyers already got rekt, chart tanked. - If the price started at 10x what it should have been, then the launch mechanics were poorly designed e.g. hurting buyers. The team should've done more to protect investors from this scenario. - Founder used the "market decided the price" argument afterwards which is weak: people assumed there would be proper liquidity. In my opinion: - The launch was poorly designed - The team failed to structure the launch fairly. A $3.5m FDV presale dropping to a $500k launch feels like a bait-and-switch (even if unintentional). They could've capped presale or set floor to prevent this. Lots of people losted most of their presale.

He gained credibility for "predicting" the 2008 crisis though worth noting some of his other forecasts (e.g hyperinflation) haven't panned out yet. Somehow relevant in TradFi, but completely out of touch when it comes to crypto. One thing is he sticks to his guns. TL;DR: Respect the conviction, question the vision.
