CEO of Helius and a core Solana builder known for shipping foundational infrastructure—RPC, indexing, and developer tooling that simplifies on-chain development. Recognized for deep technical expertise in Solana's ecosystem, direct and often humorous takes on X, and consistent advocacy for the chain; also credited with mobilizing validators during critical governance moments. While primarily focused on building practical products rather than hype, some note inconsistent communication and find his Solana maximalism and privacy coin advocacy polarizing.

“he wants builders to win”With Mert, you always know where he stands. He backs Solana hard, sometimes too hard for my taste, but he is also building tools through Helius that make it easier for founders to build there. What I respect is that he talks about Solana as a place for people to make things, not just a ticker. Even when he is provocative, you can feel that he genuinely wants builders to win

“Mert is a true Solana OG”always dropping sharp, no-BS insights. Just don’t follow him unless you’re ready to ride or die for Solana.

“Poor communication and reliability”My experience was disappointing due to inconsistent communication and a lack of follow-through. Expectations were not met, and interactions felt unprofessional at times. Hoping to see more transparency and accountability moving forward.

“CEO of Helius”Helius is one of the primary validators on solana. Mert is very active in promoting solana, and he is very active on twitter. I have not seen him promote any scams.

“Know mert through X”mert is a cool dude, says his mind and is here for the tech, community and infra. He believes the $3Trillion is just CT being too early

“Reliable and Insightful man”Mert is someone who clearly knows what he is doing and consistently provides value to the people around him. From my experience, he communicates ideas in a way that is easy to understand while still being thoughtful and informative. His insights feel well researched and practical, which makes it easier for others to trust the information he shares. What stands out the most is his professionalism and the positive attitude he brings when interacting with others. He seems genuinely willing to help and engage with the community. This creates a comfortable environment where people feel confident asking questions or learning more about the topics he discusses.
