“Big bags backing, small respect for the community”Monad got the hype, serious VCs, big names pumping it, all that. But the way they handled their airdrop feels like a straight slap in the face to the ppl who actually held it down in their own Discord. They threw tokens at everyone except their own crew, even Wormhole fam got sidelined, while randoms from LobsterDAO, ARC, MetaDAO, Fantasy Top or traders on Hyperliquid, Phantom, Virtuals, pumpfun and many other walked away with bags. Funny thing is Wormhole dropped 8k W to Monad’s Discord members showing real support, same with PythNetwork backing their community, yet Monad couldn’t even return the favor. Instead of rewarding the ppl who actually built with them, they acted like outsiders deserved it more. It’s wild when other projects give your community more value than the project itself. That’s not just bad tokenomics, that’s straight up disrespect.

“monad pulls you in like real talk”I didn’t expect Monad’s feed to grab me like it does but somehow every time I scroll past a post I find myself stopping and actually reading the full thing the way ideas are expressed feels calm yet purposeful like someone thinking things through instead of just dropping noise into the feed it’s that grounded tone that makes the content feel trustworthy and easy to follow and honestly it’s one of the rare pages that keeps me coming back because it feels real and thoughtful

“+ & – in Monad from me”Quick and straight as fock take, been here +-7 months: + Most hyped L1 right now. + Biggest ecosystem even while still in testnet. + Solid scaling game. + Marketing on steroids. + Strong role system & hierarchy. + Community treated well (so far). + Active bot fight. + Tons of meetups. + Lots of talented ppl inside. + Strong backing. + Many kind folks ready to help. + Fun testnet compared to others. + Loads of cool NFT projects, hard to pick leaders. + Chain covers all kinds of web3 stuff. + MIKEWEB is a legend. + Real influence on web3 trends. + Nice telegram bot with games. – Launch takes forever. – Too many toxic clowns, esp. in CIS. – «Competition cult» from higher roles. – Weird «community first» mindset (but you might not be included). – Favoritism everywhere - if they don’t like you, it’s your problem. – Too many yes-men. – Lots of solid ppl bounced cuz of the politics/mentality. – The more NPC you act, the more NPCs like you. – Too many trolls straight up begging to get punched in the face. – High-rank folks acting wild — zero morals, zero class. Plenty of pros, maybe even more than cons, but the cons hit harder especially for a project chasing mass adoption. Peace.

“I believe in the growth of monad”Pros: Strong fundamentals — serious engineering focus, growing ecosystem (hackathons, integrations, organic DeFi/perps activity), true EVM compatibility + decentralization edge. If it captures even modest high-throughput EVM share, big upside long-term (2027+). Cons: Heavy unlock pressure ahead (team/investors), sell-the-news dump ongoing, brutal competition (Sui, Aptos, L2s). Short-term choppy/bearish bias around current levels. My take: Holding. Short-term neutral/bearish (expect $0.02–0.05 range until catalysts). Medium/long-term bullish if TVL → $500M+ and apps stick — realistic 2026–27 targets $0.05–0.15+ in mild bull. High-conviction L1 bet for patient holders. Not FA — DYOR, size small, volatility high.

“Parallel execution on the EVM”Monad are on a mission to build a general-purpose EVM chain to solve the trilemma of decentralization, scalability, and security. They raised a huge amount and built a large ecosystem of some great dapps. I'm yet to see exactly how their vision works and if it'll actually succeed, but at the least they're committed to building it.
