“Closed Doors Can’t Build Open Ecosystems”“Even though the Monad project has received significant funding, I don’t think it will succeed post-launch. The team kept things too closed, only giving access to a select few—those people might profit, but the broader ecosystem likely won't. While testing the network, I found that most dApps are just copies of apps from other chains. There’s little to no innovation here.

“Monad dan caranya sendiri dalam berperan”Saya masih melihat Monad memiliki perkembangan yang besar, memang tidak semerta-merta langsung besar. Justru karena monad tidak membagikan kue ke semua orang, hal ini membiarkan chain ini tumbuh secara alamiah. Sayangnya, memang filtering orang itu merupakan suatu hal yang sulit, tidak semua yang disebut komunitas, layak mendapatkan gelar komunitas hanya karena aktif di dalam grup komunitas. Sementara itu, industri ini masih selalu punya sisi abu-abu terkait hal dalam berkontribusi, ini memang faktanya. Disisi lain, Monad mengajarkan kita bahwa pembangun atau developer tidak sepenuhnya butuh orang dalam melakukan uji coba jaringan (Testnet). Namun fokusnya adalah membangun komunitas itu sendiri, tapi kita semua tahu, tidak semua hal itu terlihat. Karena pada kenyataannya, bahasa komunitas itu sekarang tampak seperti sekedar slogan, tidak pernah lebih jauh. Pembangun (real dev) seringkali terkecoh oleh hal yang seharusnya mereka bisa lihat. People who gave negative review about this chain, because "Monad" don't give a cake for regular chain user. Lucunya, saat tidak semua orang mendapatkan sesuatu dari apa yang mereka kerjakan, mereka menggunakan Ethos untuk memberikan review negatif. Namun disisi lain, monad memberikan sesuatu kepada user diluar bagian komunitas, dengan logika "mereka sudah ada lebih dulu". Dan kebanyakan orang marah karena mereka tidak sebenarnya tahu apa yang mereka kerjakan, sadari dari setiap tempat memiliki aturan yang berbeda, dari sanalah harusnya pelajaran itu diraih. Sampai saat ini saya masih merasa bullish dengan Monad. Tapi, apakah akan selalu ada jaminan di dunia yang serba cepat seperti sekarang?

“A very promising L1”I reviewed its cofounder, Keone yesterday, and it is with great joy that I am positively reviewing the project itself today. Monad is one of the most promising projects in crypto right now. They have been building for several years, and I am glad and proud that I have been able to notice them early. They are building a L1 that is EVM compatible, inherits all of Ethereum security without the accompanying drawbacks such as slow speed. Monad is poised to do 10000 TPS, an astronomical improvement over the 12 TPS that ETH currently does. They are also creating a custom database, MonadDB. They have a world class team that has curated a solid community, and they have a very strong backing from top VCs and CT figureheads. The only hiccup is they are taking a lot of time to go to mainnet, but hey, good things take time. And I am excited for what the future holds for Monad and Web3 in general.

“Monad: When Ethereum Met Steroids”I heard about Monad last spring, but then it seemed like another "Ethereum killer". Now that the testnet has been launched and there is so much hype around the project, I decided to figure out what's what. The technology is impressive 10,000 transactions per second, blocks every second, single-slot finality - these are serious numbers. For comparison, Ethereum currently produces 15 TPS. The difference is cosmic. The most interesting thing is full compatibility with EVM with parallel execution. This means that all Ethereum applications will work out of the box, but many times faster. Sounds too good to be true. Money talks $244 million in investments, including $225 million from Paradigm - such sums are not given away for nothing. Paradigm has invested in Ethereum, Uniswap, Compound. If they are betting on Monad, there are reasons. The testnet is alive More than 240 projects are already being tested, 100+ projects have been launched in DeFi, bridges, wallets. These are not just promises - the ecosystem is really forming. The mainnet is planned for the end of 2025. MON token MON will be used for staking, gas and delegation. So far only in the testnet, but a central role in the mainnet economy is expected. I wonder what the tokenomics will look like. My doubts Parallel execution is a complicated thing. Ethereum is also working on sharding and parallelization. Will Monad have time to capture the market before Ethereum solves its scaling problems? Plus, the competition is tough - Solana, Sui, Aptos also promise high performance.
